Seconded.
Steal two.
I like the metal ones...there's always a hint of a threat that they're not quite sterile.

funny, I always think the plastic ones aren't quite clean. I prefer the metal ones, especially if they don't warm them up first.
The plastic ones are generally sealed in a sterile bag and disposed of after use, I think.
I dunno, honestly, how sterile a speculum has to be. The vagina is open to the universe, after all.
my surgery seems to use a mix of metal and plastic, but they are all bagged. I suppose they put them in sterile bags after being in the autoclave?
and yeah, as long as it's been given a good wash, I'm OK with that. unless it was the skank nancy who was in before me...
I'm sure they're autoclaved. Interestingly, laryngoscopes are not. Just cleaned.
I know they are autoclaved, I just wondered if they were put in the bags before or after.
and laryngy-thingies are just cleaned? makes no sense!
After. An autoclave would make vapor of a plastic bag.
The mouth/upper airway is already filthy. It's nothing even close to sterile.
yeah, but they're ~my~ germs!
...which wash off easily.
it's still gross.

Yes.. I want stainless steel everything.
I like the vintage stuff best, but that first one....

Marla is one of those mostly-under-the-radar types that make you really glad you said hello...
that's what porn should be like. hot, classy and pervy.
agreed. I have kind of had the pleasure.
