Men & shaving: do you shave?

I've been shaved for 20+ years; pubes, shaft, balls, anus, crack; twice a week. I have no idea what color my pubes are. During that time, I have never gone more than 4 days without shaving. My wife showed me a polaroid she took of me in the shower (lost for years, she found it in the back or frame of a piece of furniture in the bedroom) just before I began to shave... One word, gross. I looked like I had a rat attached to my abdomen. I started for a couple reasons... 1. We were visiting some nudist/swinger venues and 2. One day in the shower I looked down for some reason and noticed that a stream of water was coalescing below my scrotum for about 4 or 5 inches; and when I put my hand there to investigate I saw that the hair on my scrotum was so long (when wet) that it resembled a pony tale. I tried to just trim for a week or so and that was a pain, so I shaved myself bare, loved the feel and look (as did my sex partners) and haven't missed a beat since.

You bring up two points which I can relate to.

One, I also have some old Polariods from my hairy days and I have the same reaction...what a mess I had down there. Mine looked like a hugh brown Brillo pad above my stuff.

Two, not a single woman I have been with since being bare down there has had a bad thing to say about it. In fact, two of them asked me to shave them, including the wonderful gal who is now my wife. (She asked me to shave her the first time she saw me nude!)
 
I've been shaving all of my body hair, for 19 years now -

when i started dating (my now wife) she was a bit freaked out by it, but later started helping me shave

and I can't think of anything that feels better than having sex with both of you freshly shaved! Ohhhhhhhhhh yeaaaaa
 
I shave my shaft almost daily for the same reasons. When my bush gets too wild, I trim it too. I am expected to be naked in my house and it is important for me to have my dick look as big as possible.
 
I have also been shaving for years.....since the mid-90's.....love the feeling. The women I have been with have all loved it and my wife of 14 years loves it, 2-3 times a week but well worth it.

Have had the same reaction from all the women that have "been" with it, including my wife. She wants me to not only be smooth, but also keep the surrounding fur trimmed close.
 
No I don't shave down there never have, although I've shaved a few girls in my life time.

I was wondering about something though.
Has the cases of people getting crabs decreased since shaveing is now in style.
 
I shave both my shaft and balls. It started out a few years ago to get a reaction from my wife. She loved it. Shortly after her showing me her appreciation for my now naked balls, I realized how great if feels during sex to have all that hair out of the way.

I like many of the other men in this thread will have a growing jungle down there if I don't keep it shaved.
 
I shave my shaft and balls weekly and I trim my pubic hair with electric trimmer once a week when I shave my head. I have been doing that for about 10 years

Now I don't like the feel of hair down there at all if i can avoid it...

Fun story for you.
I was quite ill last year and was unable to get out of bed for about two weeks. But when I got better, the first day I could I went in the shower and went to shave...The wife went ballistic because my hands were shaking...She had me sit down and did it for me just in case I slipped and cut it off or something...

Its a pity I was too ill to appreciate it!

Oh..And I don't wear underwear.
 
I'm with the majority

I too shave the boys and the penis. I don't have any issues with nicks or razor bumps. I bought some shaving lotion made for the lady bits; the shaving lotion, a hot shower and a sharp razor works great. Then for a day or two I use a nice lotion on the shaved areas no discomfort. After a week or so I repeat the process.

As for the rest of the area, I keep it trimmed.

I do it for me and like how it feels in my armour briefs.
 
Go thru fits of it, for a long time I'll keep it all shaved bare, pubes, shaft, balls, taint.... then I'll get a hairy fit for a while. Currently just swung back into having to be smooth all the time. Really prefer that the most, actually. Cock rings feel better on bare skin. Looks better. The spouse doesn't choke on hairs..:D
 
In my 20's (now mid 40's) I was in a relationship with a woman who shared my open and fairly crude sense of humour at the time. One day I jokingly made a statement to the effect that she should "take the bag" in reference to performing orally. Without missing a beat she simply responded, "shave the bag and I'll happily take the bag".

It has been clean shaven ever since and I can say, without a doubt, the area has received far more attention from the women I've dated throughout the last 20 years than it ever did when hairy.

Having been involved in the bodybuilding type lifestyle in my youth, I also shaved my chest and arms. It's something I maintain to this day and would imagine if I were to let the chest hair grow in, it would be fairly grey.
 
I shave everything from the ears down. I don't do this for other people. i do it for me. I prefer myself looking that way. I guess I see it as more feminine, and i go for a gothic/punk girly look... so I always shave everything. I have been letting my legs and chest grow out lately tho, I'm going to attempt to wax them soon.

As far as what underwear I wear... um, i have is a chest of drawers and a closet with nothing but female attire. So its panties most of the time, and thongs when I go out to shows or events. Most would consider me a crossdresser I guess, but It's just how I go all the time. And if I decide to go all out and "tuck", hair would totally get in the way when un-taping. haha

... like i said, I do it for me. :p
 
I tend to stay smooth all over. My wife likes me that way and I do like to please her so it's a no brainer for me.
 
I keep it shaved down below. It feels just feels cleaner that way. My wife doesn't really care either way.
 
Pubic area and armpits are kept shaved: I feel much cleaner
