I've been pretty well, sir, thanks for asking. Busy, mostly. Also, my desktop computer died, which is actually messing me up a little bit. It was old, and my graphics' card pooped out, so I'm left trying to decide whether to buy a new PC or not.
In the meantime, my laptop is serving me well enough.

Well I originally thought it was the 8 inches of snow I had to contend with, but then I remembered my tumble down the stairs thanks to my overzealous daughter.... Might be a combination... *shrug* although truthfully my wrists hurt more...
Nah, maybe tomorrow...
School's closed again tomorrow, but I need to slog my way into work. My parents' neighborhood is finally cleared, so I should be able to get my kids over to them and then do battle with the rest of the idiot drivers.

Well, I'm glad it doesn't ever really snow here. I do hate being cooped up. Though the ice actually did shut us down for like four days last year. He nods and finishes off his tea, wincing at the flavor of the dregs at the bottom.

Eight inches!!!!! Youzza, We got a little under three and it was light and fluffy this morning, had the walk and drive cleared in no time. Didn't even put on a jacket. Now for the record, I did measure it because I've heard tell that some people might claim eight when it was only three.
Noon... as cheep as 'puters are these days the real decision is if you really need a desktop or not. Perhaps a new laptop might be the answer unless you like big screens and need the extra horsepower.

Yeah, you gotta watch out for the compound interest on those, also. They can get really nasty after a while. It's good to make your payments regularly on those. Nods again.
Well, no worries. As I said, it was old. I had it for probably 8 or 9 years, and it was still running Windows XP. Heck, it still even works, except for the graphics card being horribly glitched. I could get just a new card to put into it, but at this point, if I'm spending money on a PC, I might as well upgrade.
He nods again and smiles over at Angel. And look how nice it is it to be pampered. Smirks playfully at her. I'd offer to help, but sometime extra hands can just get in the way.

Yeah, it's why I've been putting off deciding. I think I WILL get a new desktop, just because I like to use it for netflix, and my laptop overheats if I try to stream videos on it. My laptop is still fairly new, but it just has heat issues. I also still do a little bit of online gaming, which I'd need my PC for. But I need to shop around and find a deal.

I spent two hours trying to shovel before I gave in and googled how to start the snow blower.

If you're a member of Costco, look there. They're selling below wholesale and doubling the factory warranty and they have decent off the shelf rigs. If you need a better video card you can get that separately and sill be ahead of the game. They are the best everyday deal you'll find.
