That is definitely true. I've been where she is now before, and it's hard to think about anything else.

No, we had about half an inch last night, but it's all gone now. It's about 45 degrees out now.

My weekend project for this weekend is to put up a door so my adopted homeless girl can have her own room. I've been building a wall to close off an area for her, and there is a doorway in the wall, but no door frame or door yet. I have an old door with a frame that was left in my garage when I bought this house, so I'm going to see if I can put it up for her. I've never done anything like that before, so I don't know how it will come out. But I think I just screw in the door frame to the studs I suppose.

You make me feel so lazy... My project for today is to get toasted and fold laundry.

how are you thyri?

Not too bad. I'm staying at home and lazing around somewhat. Just did a little work in getting the door out of the corner of the garage and pulling the old nails out of it. I took it upstairs and decided that was enough before stopping for lunch.

I should be writing, but I've been putting off this door thing for so long. I have to get the poor girl some privacy.

Angel, I like your plan too.

I should be writing too, but my thoughts and words are all over the place. Will have to hope that my co-writers will be patient with me.

I'm lucky to have patient co-writers. Or maybe they just figure I'm worth waiting for. I should be flattered to think that was the reason. In any case they don't complain.

I need to answer the one set in Dairy World about the lactating personal assistant to the dairy company executive, and also the one about the college girl who got talked into playing a DnD type game with a group of guys that are using their live action role play style to get her in compromising sexual situations.

lol, ooooo...I like the sound of the second one...

he laughs, yeah you'd think, however she didn't organize it someone else did." he shrugs, "Just how it goes I guess. I was going to hang out with a buddy but its cold and I don't feel great so probably won't."

"You are more than worth waiting on Thyri. I still need to write with you."

We're telling the story in two ways within each post. We tell it from the perspective of the game characters and also from the perspective of the game players. My female story character is Angela, and it was my partner's story character, who is her physics tutor, who talked her into playing with his group. Right now he is the one feeling her up.

She plays a drow princess who was a pleasure slave of the orc warchief who captured her. But the humans have negotiated a treaty with the orcs to exchange all prisoners. For the humans, they expected to get human or ally prisoners that were taken in the course of the war with the orcs. But the orcish side took the wording of the treaty quite literally and are exchanging ALL prisoners, whether taken as part of the war or as part of other raids and conflicts.

So suddenly the human ranger captain in charge of the prisoner exchange has inherited a drow female he never expected to have.

he nods, "I miss writing, I need to just hold my nose and jump in."

Maybe to start with you could start a story idea thread and invite others to contribute or use what ideas appeal to them. I did something like this on Elliquiy because I have far more ideas than I could ever write. Sometimes you will have an idea or find an idea that someone else posts that gets your creative juices flowing and it's off to the races.

yeah, I'm long overdue to start my own thread here. I could use a place to have a braindump I'm sure.

Opening the door to the back porch, arms laden with dry split wood and snow piled on my shoulders, I make my way to the fireplace and stack a few logs before stiring the embers to kick up a nice warm flame. The rest of the wood goes next to the hearth and I smile.

I heard that!

I was trying to keep it too hot for snow.:kiss:

Opps, was that out loud? And you kept it plenty hot, just saying.

*walks into the cabin shaking like a leaf and collapses on a couch near the fire*

Sweet mother of God, that sucked!!!!!!

Battled my way up to the airport to pick up my hubby and they closed the airport just as his plane was getting ready to land. Then I had to battle the rest of the idiots back home....

Is 1:30pm too early to start drinking?!?!?!

Oh noooooooo... Sorry about that. :( Though with luck they'll re-route him somewhere boring. ;)

I just turned the Oven onto the cleaning cycle, does that count as being productive? Probably not... I should start laundry before drinking. *Getting a mug of coffee*

Anyone want something while I'm up?

A hot tea for Glad, a cold hard cider for Theri, a Large Jack Sparrow (Captain Morgan with more makeup :D ) for the pillar of purity and another coffee for me.

Well, I did manage to get some laundry started and to shovel the deck. I'll wait on the walk and driveway, but I didn't want the weight piling up and causing a problem, the deck ain't what it used to be.

And whoever invented the self cleaning oven cycle really should be getting laid like a rock star. Just saying. :nana:

Well, tried shoveling some of the driveway and fell on my keister.

Gimme that Jack Sparrow, partner...
