Yeah it does, but it's been 30 years ago when I first saw it. The book was better as was the sex, it was gentle not mindless rutting. It was more loving like I prefer.

Are we talking about the same movie? I'm recalling the chief's son Broud and how he would rape Ayla whenever he wanted to right in front of everybody. He was doing it to humiliate her because she was different from the Cave Bear clan.

Yeah, when she learned to use a sling. They were banning her from the tribe, but she got her fair share back before she left. The guy she loved got killed by the cave bear at the gathering of the tribes thing.

Me too. I thought she'd finally found happiness and I was hoping to see him kick Broud's ass in fine style. The book explained better how she got along, and the series of books went on to show the happiness she finally found with someone of her own kind.
