Hiya hon... yeah, sucks! Course it doesn't help that the kids and I goofed all day yesterday. Indoor skydiving and then kayaking... my shoulders are killing me.

Beats culling through ~5 years worth of kids' socks. I swear my daughter has over 100 pairs of socks! Or rather had....

Trained at a very early age that one doesn't just throw away something that someone else can use.... which is why my basement is full of stuff I need to haul to the donation center.

Sometimes I wish I could just toss stuff... would be so much easier.

Technically I do rinse and reuse certain types of aluminium foil if it's in good enough condition... usually in the form of loaf pans or the like when I'm in a baking frenzy.

Oh ok like those pans you cook stuffing in before you put it in the turkey?

Yes, kinda. Like I said, it depends on their condition though. My mom, on the other hand, will work to use even the most difficult containers. Guess that's what happens when you have five kids and one income.

You know the sad part? I look at my bank account from a year ago and I ate out and spent too much money, if I'd known how long I'd have been unemployed I would have been much more careful

That's why I like to have 3-6 months salary in an account I don't even look at.. but I've also been savings since I started working at 10 (being the oldest of 5 kids makes one a very popular babysitter).
