I’d hope that anyone that shared pics know before hand the other family member wants them. Builds trust and excitement. Getting to see what is kept from others.

The question is rhetorical. Why take photos (give consent to the photo) if you know for sure that no one will see them? But I share your concern. And I am fully aware of who I am proud of my girl in front of. And of course, she realizes the seriousness of our trusting relationship, if she doesn't mind her photos on my phone at all.
