Needs an upgrade

I have relatives who live in Montreal.
I remember the crazy drivers sur la rue!
And the designer clothes outlets. :)

We are not crazy drivers. We are completely normal. It's the other drivers who cannot drive. :D

And besides, with the state of our roads and autoroutes, you kinda have to be on track or else your car will fall apart. Literally.

Very true. And our friend above is apparently not a foodie!

I love Montreal drivers! No horns, everyone respectful, crazy? Meh the only crazy ones are the truck drivers, but they are all hicks from Laval!

And the food?
I gained 10lbs during the summer...and I think it was all from the foie gras poutine at Au Pied Couchon!

Poutine is a heart attack on a plate. I love it.
You know that they now have food trucks all over the Port and the Quartier - and these are trucks from Au Pied Cochon, Toqué, and so many other really fantastic places.

I barely scratched the surface, spent most of my time either in the Anglo Ghetto or the hipster apocalypse of St.Viateur.
I did have a favourite cafe around St.Denis & Ste.Catherine by the universities, and a great cigar bar to hang out in on the trendy part of Sherbrooke.

Wow... you really didn't go in too deep, did you?

Hipsters ruined the Plateau, although if you want a great café, check out Pi. And there's one by the Main, which is owned (or at least, used to be) by Leonard Cohen.

St. Viateur still has the best bagels in town.

And I think that I know which lounge you're referring to - is it near the Concordia Ghetto?

Well I'd go to specific places, but I only really wandered around downtown by the Concordia Ghetto and then walking around. Free moto parking on MacKay. :D
Oh and I was looking for places with a decent patio to have a cigar with my iced coffee. Not to mention being able to casually oogle the vast array of smoking hot women that are prowling the summer streets of Montreal.

The lounge I found was Casa del Habano on Sherbrooke & MacKay, even has a smoking lounge & full tended bar at the back of the store. I spent more than a few hours there sampling their wares chatting in the back over drinks.

And I agree about St.Viateur, why do you think I ended up there? :D
But there's some decent patio's, if the smell of hummus & arguments about politics don't turn you off. There's a corner of Ste.Catherine & St.Matheiu that has three Chinese noodle places around the intersection. Best & cheapest places for lunch in the city, and most are actually really decent Chinese. I couldn't stop talking about the Shrimp Toast.

Bourbon is hard to find. Either the SAQ in the old forum or I had to go to the one at the Colosseum in Laval.

Did I mention the hot women? And free moto parking? How could I not fall in love with the city.

Are Montrealers fun?

Not too many stop by...

This could be a fun place. Now the people from Ontario look like they are having more fun than we do!

Montreal has more strip clubs per capita then any city in North America.

Not that I would know anything about that.....
