I was wondering whether the mind can cope/process two sensory streams simultaneously ...and if it can, whether there was a 'sweet spot' where the two can exist side-by-side and would they be distinguishable, and what would that feel like? ...would you want it to stop or not?
I suppose the question is are pain and pleasure one and the same thing? ...just interpreted differently by the brain, depending in which mind-set you're in!
