Absolutely - just go slow and steady ...don't try and jump to too heavy a gauge too quickly ...and enjoy the journey!

As X says, increase gauge over time. You will find your nipples will accommodate the increase size. Consider fitting nipple shields/cage to lengthen out your nipple. Enjoy and have fun.

I am not a professional piercer - but it is a subject that interests me, and yes, I have had my own nipples (..and other bits!) pierced.

My advice would be to work up to the gauge you want first, over a period of time and let the nipple and hole heal properly.
Trying to stretch the nipple whilst it is healing could lead to a lot of discomfort and soreness, elongating the pierced hole rather than enlarging it, lengthening the healing time and/or the possibility of infection.

You don't need 'long' nipples to have a heavy gauge piercings - as you progress in gauge, this will lengthen the nipple to a degree naturally.

Do keep us updated of your progress - but always keep in mind your health and wellbeing should always take priority.
