Music for the Apocalypse

As things may start to open up - hopefully not too soon and with caution, Ron Sexsmith with Ellis Costello, Cheryl Crow, Jesse Winchester and Nico Case singing Bob Dylan

Lost Together Another song that is poulat on these lists here by Blue Rodeom who may be our country's best bar band, only problem is they are now too good to play bars.

Post Apocalypse Restitution - binge on live music, live theater, spoken word poetry and eating in restaurants.

Picture Show: A Tribute Celebrating John Prine

Tzara put out a post of John's death due to covid-19 a while back but Picture Show: A Tribute Celebrating John Prine is a fabulous and moving tribute. It's all the more impressive as it was put together by musicians who were separated from each other because of the plague.

Prine memories

You know he’s still with you when the radio
plays one of his unforgotten songs
and next thing you know
you find yourself
singing along,

Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed most of these videos. My favorite was the Amanda Palmer vid

My pick has to be Leonard Cohen's 'The Future'

Since people have mentioned the word "plague" I will add that in history plagues teach people that god and other superstitions are wrong. So if this pandemic means that more people turn to science then that will be a silver lining:)

Wish I could be more poetic lol science just doesn't comfort the way religion does
