Actually one of the best thing about moving down here was getting away from the skeeters. In Wisconsin they pick you up and carry you away, noone does things outside in the summer evenings because you would be sucked dry. Although there are times being sucked dry is not such a bad thing.

I spent several weeks in FL just after Ivan hit helping with the clean up. I got bit so many times they lmost sent me to the Emergency room for the swelling. It was almost as if I'd been stung by a bee in places.
