I understand and I agree. That's why I sleep nude. I would go around the house nude in the evening but my wife is far less comfortable with her nudity so it would feel odd watching TV nude and her dressed.
Plus, I am FAR from a perfect body. I'm 60 yo, 5'10" and 360#. Not a body to be on display in a group of people. I wish I were built differently because honestly, I have a real exhibitionist streak. Just too self-conscious to indulge it.

I get where you're coming from, I'm 61, 5'8" and 172lb, my wife is 63, 6' and just over 300lb so she feels much the same as yourself. For me, as a nudist, it is not about being an exhibitionist - it is that I just prefer being naked and the feeling of being completely exposed to the elements. I used to worry about other people seeing my less than perfect body, but I came to realise that most people feel the same about their own body. Also, life is too short to spend it worrying about what other people think - opinions are like arseholes, everybody has one. I realise that I'm lucky in that my wife is quite happy for me to hang out naked, though sometimes she is cold and has three layers on when I'm walking around (literally) bollock naked and it is not unknown for us to be watching the TV in the evening, her clothed and me naked.

My only advice is try it, have a conversation with your wife she might be more comfortable with it than you think.
