Well , as the name suggests I'm (we're) pretty new to BDSM. My lovely wife of almost 20 years recently approached me about helping her explore her newly accepted submissive curiosity.
It's been an interesting adventure over the last few weeks, I haven't done this much reading in a long time. I'm by no means a "natural" Dom so I've been reading everything I can get my hands on to try to get a handle on this which is how I stumbled across this site.
There's been a lot of good information so far and I look forward to learning more as we progress on this "journey" and see where it leads. All I know is that the 'results' so far have been amazing. Looking forward to many more.

As you poke around the bdsm literature and online forums you may run into the notion that dominants are born and not made. Do not be discouraged to read this and thus think that you can't be what your wife needs since you don't think of yourself as a "natural dominant." Only the two of you can know that. And if you're both getting your rocks off with what you're doing, anyone else's thoughts and opinions are irrelevant.
