Gods, been on this site reading for years and cannot for the life of me remember if I've introduced myself!

hi everyone. I am a new member, but not new to this site. I've been reading many, many of the story submissions for quite a while.
I am 43 yrs old, happily married for 18 yrs, with 2 children. I will add, though, that looking back, I feel that I have been a bit naive, especially sexually. I was brought up in a very strict household, and while I have enjoyed sex with my husband, last year changed how I look at myself.
My husband and I had made the decision to try some light bondage, nothing painful, but ropes and blindfold, basically. I really enjoy this, but there was one night when I became upset, and I wanted him to let me up. I had this notion for some strange reason that this website would be filled with dirty old men writing poorly conceived and executed stories of strange sexuality and lust. I've spent a couple of hours going over the site, and I see that there are many different types of people writing some well conceived and constructed stories of strange sexuality and lust.
I spent most of my time in the Writer's Help section, and read a number of really well written and thoughtful essays on the subject of erotic writing. Everyone, I'm impressed.
I've tried being a full time writer once before in my life. I spent a couple of years writing comic books, both for small press and for some of the larger publishers. One of them rhymes with Barvel. The one thing I did find out about the industry is that no one pays you. Ever. I don't mean they pay you late, they just never send the check. Even the company that rhymes with Barvel.
I've been tinkering away with a novel idea for a couple of months now. Unfortunately, one of my most obvious personality traits is lethargy, and I haven't seriously been writing. I attended a writer's group yesterday for a little motivation and inspiration, and one of the attendees told me that the online and published erotica market is wide open, and they pay! I've spent much of the day today researching resources to enter into that field.
I look forward to talking part in the forums here, as well as submitting my stories for all of you to read, enjoy, and critically eviscerate. We'll see what my perverted mind and limited talent can conjure up.
