Decided this year to contribute and have discovered that sharing my writing is consuming, I just want to write, write, and post.

But I am having a hard time navigating the site.

Is there anyone out there who would be kind enough to show me the path, point the way or give me a slap on the ass to get my attention.

This sounds really frustrating and disappointing for you. You are entitled to enjoy sexual intimacy in your marriage and for that to be a fulfilling part of the relationship.

Have you considered seeing a relationship therapist together for couples counselling? Or perhaps a sex therapist? Not sure where you live but it isn't usually too difficult to find a qualified, skilled counsellor or psychologist who in a few sessions can help you with strategies to enhance your relationship experience.

Of course, the viability of this does depend on the motivation of both partners; if he isn't that interested in enhancing the sexual contact you have there may not be much to gain from such support (in which case you might be better looking at what other choices you have, both as a couple and for yourself).

Hope you can find ways to resolve this and improve the relationship for the benefit of both.

We have actually considered going to a couples therapist, but we end up being ok again before we schedule an appointment. Next time, though, I think we'll be quicker about setting something up. Thanks Bryon.

Hello all. Been around for a few years now enjoying the literature section of the site, but as of yet to branch into the forums. When I was looking through the FAQs on profile updates and the like I managed to wind up here. No promises on how active this foray will be, though.

As for myself, I'm currently on the latter bit of my enlistment ( less than a year and a half to go now, 8.5+ in) as a nuclear operator. I was doing research prior to my enlistment with the intent of getting a masters in Fusion & Plasma sciences at NCSU but my longterm fiscal planning back then wasn't the best - hence the military option.

If I can say nothing else positive about my time in the services, I can at least say that it has been eye opening going about the world and visiting upon the various mindets of different countries/communities as well as learning the differences between what you see yourself doing back in college and what you actually wind up doing.

I will also say this is the last time I pick a job that originally started as a hobby. It just screws up your perceptions too much, and sometimes it's better to be ignorant.

I'm not really an erotica writer but I certainly do enjoy visiting upon the talents of others. Last year I finally started picking up writing again (I've fancied myself as a fantasy writer on occasion) after a really long hiatus from it, an open-ended story in the Felaryan universe.

Not a whole lot else to say, work takes up a lot of my time but I do try to have some fun and rest around it.

I've been reading various stories on this site for the past few months and just recently began browsing the forum. I don't like being a lurker and there is always the chance I might have something interesting to say every once in a while, so here I am.

If anyone is curious, the handle Nidhogg is the English translation of Níðhöggr - A dragon of Nordic mythology that gnaws upon the roots of Yggdrasil the World Tree. There is no symbolism or special meaning behind the name. I just think it is really cool.

Cool monikers aside, I actually have spent a fair amount of time doing recreational writing. I am currently re-writing a group of stories I did a little while ago into a more reader friendly version. While the thematic components and story are erotic in nature and are more than graphic enough, stream-of-consciousness narrative doesn't make for a very easy or erotic read. I'm switching it back to a dramatic narrative and I'll see how that goes.

Drawing from my own experiences as a Dom the aforementioned story is more about power and control. I don't know if any other stories I write will be, but who knows. Personally I find the world of erotica to be more about mental states than physical, and my favorite mental state is the acquisition and surrender of power.
