Ok, here goes…

I’m sort of new to all this, and it’s not just my first post here, but my first one anywhere, so please forgive me if I get a little lost at times.

Well, I’m a 51 year old male, married, with a young son, and I live in the northwest of England. It’s a bit of a long story as to how I came across this site, so I won’t clog up the thread with it, but it’s been a real eye opener to find all of this exists. It's really allowed me to expand my horizons.

I started writing for my own pleasure, and to entertain a few select friends, a year or two ago, and found that I enjoyed it immensely. I haven’t submitted anything here yet, but I think I might give it a try, just to see what sort of feedback I get from a wider audience.

Well, for any number of years I have been enamored with the power and prose of the pen. It has always been an extension of the soul for me... the Spirit released. To that end, I have always wished to capture the driving force that is that Spirit; to take my words, and my readers, to a place so comfortable... so removed that they find themselves floating within their own imagination.

Standard bill of fare for writing novel, fiction and the like -to me- appears to have its limitations, but I have always thought about having the expressive freedoms that erotic literature presents at my pen's tip. Suffice-to-say it is one that interests me on a completely different plane. My hope then is to explore this world, and all who reside within, to gain insight, adventure, and intrigue in what will hopefully guide my words.

And, hopefully, they will fall upon a receptive audience -one that will provide a careful redirection if/when needed.

Welcome! You need to have 101 posts before you are allowed by the Lit moderators to add an avatar.

You can post a pic by clicking the attach button, upload the pic you want, then click on the pic, copy the URL address Lit gives it, then click the Insert Image icon and add it.

Hello all!

I've been wandering around the board on and off for a little while, though apparently not posting. I was actually surprised the other day when someone replied to my post and pointed out it was my first. I guess you always remember your first?

Anyway, I'm a fairly laid back type who just likes to jump in and out of conversations at a whim, a skill I think I perfected in lit chat back when it was a thing that could be accessed. Also I've lately been trying to actually put some of the many sordid ideas in my head down into a story form, so being a real person on here seemed like a fair idea.

Lastly, because it seems to be such a popular first question, Orange is not a place I'm from, not the clothes I'm wearing (not always anyway), and not the new black (though maybe it should be?). It happens to be a color I'm fond of and perhaps sometimes a state of mind.

Hi all! Just realised I hadn't posted in here, only lurked. I forgot. I'm ashamed.

I've been a Lit reader for a while, but did not realise they had a forum 'till recently, so I signed up in the hopes of meeting fellow friendly perverts =] I have not been disappointed!

I've been writing since I was eleven, and I love it. My preferred genres are satire, sci-fi and psychological horrors. My short attention span only allows me to write short stories, but I would love to write a novel (managed 25k last year in AugNo!), and potentially screenplays.

I've only written a few smutty lil' fics. I've had so many PMs asking if I've found inspiration to write erotica yet. I'm a serial starter. I've had inspiration to start about 6 stories now. Haven't finished any yet. It's a problem. It's not a priority, since I'm focusing more on my non-erotic stories, but it is a good way to mitigate my frustration in the nights =] So soon, hopefully!
