Well, I'm an (almost) 24 yr old female who is moving across the country to Vancouver in les than a week. I find myself unable to sleep from stress and excitement, so I have found myself coming on here (ignore the pun) to check things out.

Before I start, I would just like to say that this is one huge board. It took me forever to find member intros. Phew!

Anyway. On with the introduction.

My forum name is RaLaWrites but my name is just plain old Rachael. I turned 18 back in february and I officially joined the site last month as an Author even though I stumbled across it sometime back in March. I start college in.. *looks at clock* a few weeks or so.

I have such a passion for writing and reading good stories and literature. I'm heavily interested in Journalism as well as Creative Writing. I've even won awards for both throughout most of high school.

As far as sexuality goes, I enjoy and prefer reading Erotica over watching porn. I love the fact that everyone is given the ability to submit and have their work posted. If there's one thing I'm adamant about, it's feedback. I love constructive critism. A lot of people have problems with that but I've learned a while ago that you can't improve any skill unless you correct your mistakes.

In my free time I work, spend time with my friends and boyfriend, read (usually they're trashy Harlequin romance novels; I'm not afraid to say so!) and write in my spare time, listen to music, attend concerts, do lots of homework, studying and researching and overall just try to enjoy life.

I'm an activist for for all things Autism; it has affected my life in many ways. My older brother suffers from it and I'm so glad it's getting the attention it deserves now. I'll probably put several links in my siggy for those who are interested in learning - and if you aren't then you should be.

I think I'm all out of things to say about myself! It's nice to be a part of this beautiful community!

I've been a Literotica member for a while, but I've never drummed up the courage to either write on the boards or contribute stories until now.

My main (literary) interests are fantasy fiction and erotica, and I spend most of my Literotica time in the Sci/Fi, Lesbian and Erotic Couplings lists.

As someone else has already said, I also prefer reading erotica to watching pornography. The mind can do fantastic things with prose, but a picture is a picture
