Unfortunately writing is costing more and more energy lately. The only reason I actually managed to submit this latest for publication is that it's only 750 words and I wrote it while I was waiting for my dinner to finish cooking.

Thanks, but it's alright. I'm still writing, just not finishing anything. I'm just adding to my WIP folder. One day all those bits and pieces will merge into the perfect story. Or else it will create a second Big Bang.

I just published my fourth story The Courtesan in Red

At 25k+ words, it's probably the most personal and the longest story I will put on this site. I've put a lot of my fantasies into this, and it might not be for everyone, but I'm really happy with how it's turned out.

This milestone is especially important to me because I have lived with some of these fantasies for decades, shaped in no small part by Bollywood masala (spicy) movies, and watching them come to life on the screen, and now on this site (which has shaped a lot of my own life) really gladdens my heart.

I thought I posted this here before, but on 11/28/25 I published https://literotica.com/s/chrissie-weekend-in-the-bush in Novels and Novellas which was the last category I needed for the Survivor Challenge for this year.

That means that I published something for every category except for the Illustrated, Audio and Chain categories.

The poetry is horrid, but some of the rest of the stuff is pretty good.

Like you, I can't make this rhyme. But I'll give it a try, one more time.

A page sits blank, a daunting sea, I wish a poem would come from me. But every thought feels thin and weak, The proper words I cannot seek.

I try to start, I try to end, My muse, it seems, has left a friend. The meter trips, the rhymes all fail, I'm trapped inside my own dull tale.

I stare at lines that will not form, A victim of a mental storm. So here's my verse, a sorry thing, About the song I cannot sing.

I know 400 isn't a lot of followers to some of you, but I'm proud of what I've done in less than a year on the site as an author.

My writing is still far from what I would like it to be, but it's getting better. I've at least been productive. Im about to submit my 50th story in my ten months, totalling about 3/4 million words. And it's not all complete garbage, I have 21 stories over 4.8 and a W, so that's something.

It's what a story gets when it won one of the three prizes in the six annual contests. There are 18 W's awarded a year now. (There used to be monthly prizes as well.)
