Something very interesting happened today. So I bought some feminine items on Amazon a few days ago and it was delivered this afternoon. I live in an apartment complex. My neighbor caught me as she was leaving and said she mistakenly opened my package because it blew away from my door in the wind and she was expecting a package herself from Amazon. She apologized and wrote a note on it. She didn’t say anything about what was in it but she definitely saw what was in it. How embarrassing!!! I was red in the face and didn?t know what to say. Not to sure what I should do at this point lol.

Good question. Just trying to figure it out I guess. I would eventually like to get enough nerve to go out in public. I don’t think I would pass but I think it would be fun. Not really out to anyone yet though.

It takes time to find your style. I am openly Trans and I present as female but it was not always that way.
A lot of worry is within yourself rather than anything out there, but the more confident you are, the less likely anyone is to get funny with you.
The first time you wear a skirt or dress while driving, you will be convinced that other motorists are looking at you. They aren't, unless you're wearing an ass-length skirt and fishnets, because they are not looking out for trans people. They are thinking about their own lives. The same goes for shopping trips.
The first thing to remember is that you have an absolute right to be yourself.
It's best to address one aspect at a time.
Get a makeup lesson. Your needs are different from those of cisgender women, because of your facial hair.
A Trans female's walk is often a giveaway. There's no need for an exaggerated wiggle. A chunky heel of only about two inches is enough to add femininity to your walk. That's why women wear them in general.
One very basic tip is to sense your legs touching each other ever so lightly at about knee level. Don't splay or stride and never walk like a cowboy.
There is a lot to learn and the best way is by going out with other Trans people.
I don't regard myself as a cross-dresser and have not for many years. I would be cross-dressing if I presented myself as male.

What was in the package? I think you should be honest if she ever asks about it but only if she asks. What happens in the privacy of your apartment and doesn't hurt anyone else is your business. Maybe she's intrigued

I've been out a few times dressed under the cloak of darkness. Around my apartment complex in the rain with an umbrella hiding my face and out for drives also, so exciting. Just be safe and relax it's great

I am hoping that I can get out in public someday soon, and I have heard the same thing.
I have a wardrobe now that would pass for any regular woman's, and I am almost sure my makeup skills are enough that no one would take a second glace although I would like to get at least a few lessons before stepping out.
Two things are important as least I think they are your walk and your voice.
Also if your lucky enough to have a woman that is will to go with you it goes a long way in alleviating some of the anxiety of going out.

I can pull off the walk, but the voice would be really hard for me. The plan would be to just go out for coffee with the wife so I could keep my talking to a minimum.
Not that you couldn't do a good job... but I would have the wife do your makeup.

Ha Ha Ha. Unfortunately, my wife hates makeup and never wears it. I don't want to sound like I am flexing but I am the one in the house with the better makeup skills. This is a point the 2 of us joke about all the time.
