I hope so. It'll be my first 'proper' NFL game (have seen NFL Europe games waaaay back) but I have to decide which team to support as neither are 'my' team.really? that should be a most interesting game, phaedre! :>

My companion will be cheering for the Bucs. Perhaps I should cheer on the Pats just to be contrary?
Silver, I totaly agree.i saw that game, find me, and that really didn't look like the pats offense that we've all come to expect. i think that's a testament more to rex ryan's d and the blitz packages however than an indictment of the pats: it didn't seem to me that brady had many opportunities to step up into his throws.

you know, i missed this post earlier.username quoth:
my two cents on the giants:
why the big deal about receivers? yes plaxico (that idiot), was a major part of the passing offense, but he was more of a decoy that drew attention than an actual viable downfield threat something i thought that hixon did extremely well other than his few dropped passes. which should improve with time. all the other receivers are solid. i think the problem was more the suddenness of plaxico's departure and eli manning's failure to compensate by finding another hot read when feeling the pressure.
if i remember correctly, another team just won a super bowl(or two), without a true no. 1 receiver and won instead with the frenetic pass-rush generated by the front seven and steady, efficient, quarterback play.
Willing & Unsure: Yes - Go Bears.....the Bears won last night *big cheesy grin*
