Niriate's Nature Retreat - Invite Only.

Sighing softly, she opened the door to her cottage, that she has spent that last few days slaving on getting cleaned up again. It had seen no use for almost 2 months, thus allowing lots of dust to collect itself. What was worse was that nearly all the food and drinks she had stored had gone bad, adding to the smell.

Inhaling the scent of the damp forest around her made her smile a bit again though, she loved the location of her cabin, it was the perfect place for a nature lover to rest up.

She now only hoped that her sweetheart had received the invitation she had sent earlier that day

Two bags in my left hand a bouquet of flowers in my right, a beautiful spring assortment to brighten her cabin. The bags contain various foods and drinks, her favorites and mine.

I hope she is expecting me, I wonder as I knock.

The door opens and she bows gently while holding it open A very warm welcome, madame.

She chuckles loudly as she looks at Scarlet, smiling widely at the woman. So glad you could make it, my darling. And what a beautyful bouquet..

Chuckling softly, I enter with a curtsey.

I thought you could use a little brightening in here. I also brought you some food.

moving to the kitchen, I start unloading the groceries.

That's very considerate of you, my sweet. And truth be told.. I could use some, yes.. the two months of unuse have not done this place much good.

Shakes her head softly as she sits down on the bed, watching her best friend unloading the stuff that she has brought with her

That's the good thing about having a place of your own...you can come and go as you please.

Once all the items are put away, I grab a couple glasses and a bottle of wine. After setting the glasses down, I open the bottle and pour us some wine

Smiles soflty as the two glasses collide in a gentle ringing, before she raises it to her lips

To us, and may our friendship never be broken, for as long as we are a part of this world, mortal or immortal.

I smile over at her, raising my glass

To us...

I agree as I sip from the delicious wine. Leaning in, I kiss her softly

How was your day, my dear?

It was alright Smiles as she catches the short kiss Some annoyances from some time ago are rearing their ugly heads again though.

Takes a soft sip from her wine, letting out an annoyed grunt

That is never good. Remember not to take things too seriously.

Setting my wine down, I lay across the bed on my belly, feet kicking into the air.

I'm here if you'd like to talk.

She smiles down to her friend, setting her glass down on the nightstand next to her.

It's nothing major, just some people that I thought I had gotten rid of a long time ago, have seemed to come back again.

Lies down a little, leaning up on her elbow. How about you, my dear?

That happens...like lost puppies. I hope that things work out for you.

Grinning over at her, my feet kicking slowly

The days are too long but I'm enjoying the nights. I'm still trying to get back into things fully but it's going well.

She nods lightly as she starts to doze off a little at times. Seems like my body is protesting again. Shakes her head in anoyance.

Guess I'll heed the call of the sheets then, dear. She leans down and gives her girl a tender and deep kiss.
Wicked dreams, my dear.

My hand slides through her hair as I return the kiss, moaning softly against her soft lips. I chuckle softly

Yes...wicked dreams to you, my emerald beauty

Slipping in quietly, I place a beautiful red rose on her pillow. I kiss the air, hoping to see her soon.

Happy Valentine's Day, my emerald beauty.

Drops a bucket of rose petals onto the bed before dropping off the small note and slipping out quietly.

Missing you my emerald beauty.

It's been months since I've made my way over to this part of the forest. The fall is starting to settle into the pines, needles dropping onto the ground to cover my tracks.

Normally, I hate this part of the year, the weather would make a turn for the worst, the forest would slowly lose it's beauty and it was an eager wait for the snow to come.
But today, it was not as gloomy as it would've been. My cottage still stands, though a little worse for wear and overgrown due to the months of lack of attendance.

The wolf dissapears as the girl shakes her hair back into shape and forces the door open, immediately being greeted by a large collection of cobwebs and inch-thick layers of dust.

Well, atleast nothing's rotting. That's a relief atleast.
Ah well.. time to start cleaning.
