There’s so many, it’s hard to choose. I prefer the less populated ones. I’m not much for sharing my sand with a thousand others. I love the windswept beaches of Rodanthe and Frisco. Nags Head has great break when I want to surf. It’s all just fucking beautiful.

Out towards the lake Lure area. Yes, I’ll be working from Charlotte. Plan on keeping our boat at Lake James tho.
That's Awesome, lake lure area is nice, why not leave boat on lake lure, just curious? That commute through Shelby is a mess if you don't hit it just right.

Lake Lure charges a big fee if you don’t live in Lake Lure (we’re about 20 minutes south). Plus we prefer a larger lake…wife and I take the kid out often, but we want a lake we can go just us and get naked on the boat without a having a ton of kids seeing us!
I understand, had heard there were some serious restrictions on lake lure. Lake James gets crowded on the weekends, just a heads up.

We often do our naked time during the week. That way if anyone sees us, it’s likely guys out fishing!
Yea lakes dead during the week, lot's of coves & areas to enjoy it.

Lake Lure charges like that to try and keep the population on the water to locals only. Stinks but it’s definitely less crowded than others and a great time.
