Literotica chat is slow and cumbersome. AOL is long gone.
Any recommendations on good free chat rooms to play in and find dirty chat partners?

The way I look at it, chat rooms live and die of the communities that attend them. That's why AOL or before that IRC was so special, as were the early immersive online platforms like There! or SecondLife or IMVU that came after that.

And that's why now, you'll be hard pressed to find a live chat community comparable to the one in lit, things have become very fragmented in erotic chat.

The closest I am aware of is what happens in the sidelines of some of the big online games, and also Twitch to some extent.

Fenomen games used to be one. Discord can work if you find the right servers, I used it for a long time.

F-chat is also more current.

I don’t know if they’re still around but Chatropolis had some busy rooms. You’ll need to find some who can teach you how to make an avatar if you’re not tech savvy. I haven’t been there in years.

+1 for Chatropolis. Still very active, rooms can be full at times and the limit is typically quite low, only 25-30 people allowed. I had great conversations there too.
The interface looks old but it works and it’s free, too and no need to register. You can post pics, some rooms are explicitly for image exchange, but in my experience you will find pics in most rooms, the room names generally speak for themselves. Bots and spam are minimal imho but of course a merry band of weirdos can be encountered

I had so many bots on kik messaging me I uninstalled it. Should kept it if I knew you and wife used it mmmmm
