Nude at home

Same here.
I walk around naked from the waist down.
All he says is to put a towel on the sofa before I sit there :(
We have top down/bottom up blinds.
Sometimes in winter when the leaves have fallen, he'll raise the blinds from the bottom up so my bare ass isn't seen by the neighbours.
Otherwise, ignores my round firm ass, shapely waxed legs and pussy :cattail:, pedicured feet and the scent of musk I trail from room to room...

Bummer:(
Like now, naked and even after the awesome weekend I had:)
Watching football, bare with a semi:)
She could care less...oh well

lol I am usually nude at home or walking around in just a corset , I hate clothes they are awful things if I have to go out of course I wear them or if we have visitors, otherwise naked is the only way, my gf does not mind though she very rarely joins in, its a femme thing I guess, butches like their decency I think, its not sexual its comfort, even long time visitors when I have helped out friends have had to get used to me walking around with just hot pants and a bikini top on as I refuse to completely cover up at home, and if the post man calls real early he has been known to get an eyeful poor chap I just forget when I have not woken up enough to cover up, I used to live with a gay man friend and we used to hang out all the time in just shorts watching tv, maybe your room mate would be ok if you wore a pair of shorts that way not too gay maybe but still better than the whole clothing thing.
I have some boxer shorts underwear that are loose fitting. But still, its not as comfortable as nude. I just walked out to the kitchen, hate pulling on underwear.

When I lived on my own I stayed nude much of the time. Exceptions were cooking and a few other mildly hazardous (to wabbly bits) hobbies. ;)

Since I had kids, though, that's been a no-go. I mostly didn't mind, but their dad disapproved, so I dressed.

I'm looking forward to our empty nest years, it's been a long time. I'm not sure if Sir will follow (birthday)suit, but I hope so.
I have always felt much more comfortable nude. My parents didnt approve. Two families, cousins, were less inhibited. We would visit each during the summer. One had a quarry by their home. Most people swam and hung out naked. The other family lived on a private river front. They would walk nude from the house, to the river to wash in the morning. No towels...walk around and air dry!!! I loved it and did it. My parents and brother were to shy.

Love being naked. Skin needs to breathe. Love the feel of air and other stuff on me. When I'm alone, it's nudie bootie time.

Got a roommate. I'm not naked around her for courtesy.

Got a husband who hates sex. Not naked around him because he makes me feel ugly.

Skin does need to breath! And its healthy to be nude outdoors....vitamin D ! Im extending the courtesy of covering up to my current roommate. I wish he was as comfortable nude as i am.

Im sorry to hear your hubby makes you feel ugly. You should embrace your own body. We all are different, individual! Unique in our own ways. Thats what makes us special!

I know what you mean. It is awful having to pull on clothes makes me feel stifled but I suppose its common courtesy. I am just glad I have no roomies now so I can do what I like, That is one of the great things of finding a mistress with her own place lol

Nudity is a commodity in America. It gets marketed. It is associated with sex, usually. And, religion has taught us to be ashamed of nakedness. As a result. people are obsessed with being clothed all the time, even when that makes no sense at all in terms of comfort, energy conservation, and our sense of being free.

During the summer, I spend much more time nude than clothed. My partner of five years has gotten used to this, and she now enjoys the same freedom. It's no big deal.

Recently, my family visited, so out of social convention we wore clothes. We had to run the evaporative cooler on my house the whole time they were there. As soon as they left, we shed the clothes and turned off the cooler. Our home was quiet, and our skin harvested the natural breeze through the windows.

naked is priceless and comfortable

I am naked a lot in my own home and I live on my own now so whenever I feel like it I am. I have always preferred sleeping nude and even when family were living with me and/or when I travel with others or someonelse's home I still usually at least sleep nude but keep the gown/nightwear right on edge of bed to don if needed for common courtesy with anyone around.

Never had a roommate other than living with family so the considerations I guess as to how frequent and when your naked movements around the shared part of the dwelling/home is needs to be discussed probably.

i dont get it

Great point....nudity isnt about sex. Yes, if there is some sexual attraction, being naked can skip a few steps. I was raised to always cover up my body. Nudity wasnt acceptable. I assumed that was true for everyone. But i discovered that was far from the truth. Our family spent time at our cousins camp on a river each summer. Finding my cousins, naked on the beach one afternoon, then discovering that most everyone washed up by the side of the dock...opened up a new world to me.

another point

And something ill never understand ..... you cant show a nude body in a movie. Ok for violence though? Boobs are worse ? I dont get it!

Clothes are there to protect us from the elements - cold, wet, sun; they were not (originally) designed to conceal us from our neighbours. But habits change. And when you get to my age, well, yeah, some things are probably better covered. But if you are young, say under 50, what is the problem? The other animals with whom we share the planet don't generally wear clothes.

Other human cultures are not hung up about wearing clothes all the time. And, some of these cultures are not hung up on the Western beliefs about worshipping youthfulness and narrow definitions about beauty. I hear lots of nervous jokes about nudity that are based upon shallow interpretations of beauty.

Objectively, Western culture is obsessed with materialism and appearance, two aspects of life that have no permanence and very little relationship to a person's character and legacy.

Honestly when I clean, do simple chores, or want to sleep, I see no use for clothes. Besides they get dirty from cleaning anyway and I can always take a shower later on.

I love being nude. am at the moment as back from work and clothes in the wash. have slept in the nude last 40 odd years. wife used to but now she hides her body. resigned to it just me by myself enjoying life the way nature intended

Nude most of the time at home and around the outside of the house. When it warmer, I have worked nude in the garage. ( No welding ) Wife enjoys nudity but not as much as I do. We have slept naked for all of the 13 years we've been married.
As stated before, nudity is not about sex. It's just the feeling of the wind and sun on your entire body. A feeling of freedom from the constraints of the "other" world. No reason to condemn us, why not give it a try and join us.

Wife and I have had a clothing optional home since getting together 15 years ago. We always sleep nude. Not unusual to find us cooking nude, although it seems I do more nude cooking than she does. If not clothed or nude, my wife will being wearing a towel around her waist after getting cleaned up. I have even gone up into the attic while naked.

You're right. Nudity removes so many hang ups. To be able to hang out nude with friends, relaxes and feels very cool

nude

was great and she liked it untill her sister spent the weekend. I continued to be naked and she wore see thru, well you know what happens when your naked or at least for me around two women. amazing how similar in appearence they were and yet so different in bed. I realize now I married the wrong woman. probably the new or different concept. I was harder then ever before and went all night. Now after 6 months with the sister who has moved in to save money(really she just like the relationship). The women are 31 and 33. The mom who is more my age 57, and now a widow has talked about being so lonley and she has no interest in dating. Now her daughters are pressuring me to let her move in, I have the room however I know where it will end up. we have talked about mom moving in but hell I am krazy by weeks end cos the sex is non stop with the sisters. throw mom in the mix and I will need viagra. I have never been able to say no and always up for a challenge. Mom is spending next week. The twins have a bet on how soon after mom moves in the she spends a nite in my bedroom. looking foreard i have to admitt she is very good looking for her age and takes care of herself exercising daily. Not sure how her daughters know but they tell me she is clean shaven to the point she had her pubic hair removed by a medical process. wish me luck

I understand why some people think older folks should not be naked for aesthetic reasons, although I do not share that belief. First, being nude is about how the persons feels, not about being seen by others. Second, I have seen many clothed folks needing more than some fabric to be aesthetically pleasing.

My two cents. I think it is great when older folks enjoy being nude.

I totally agree with your post.

Long time lurker...First time poster

I enjoy being nude at home, always have always will.
My parents and family are very religious but I never was. They were always telling me to cover up when I was under their roof so as soon as I moved out the clothes came off.

Now that I am older (and married) I still walk around nude in the summer when I can and the absolute least amount of clothes I can get away with to stay warm in the other seasons (UK winters are not very kind on nekkid bits!).

The only thing that stopped me walking around the house nude full time is our daughter. So I was kept to a pair of shorts for her sake. But now she is 15 and looking at moving away to college and uni I may very well return to that freedom I once had.
The wife rarely walks around nekkid. Its not that she is embarrassed about nudity, its just that she isn't comfortable with her body now that middle age has slipped in. Me? I love her just as she is.

TL: DR
Nudity is good. But you often have to respect others views even if you don't agree with them.
