Virgin - ia.

Was in SoDak in July of 2000, travelling from CA back to VA via the northern route. Stayed overnight in Rapid City, did the Big Rock Dead Guy Heads - I90 from WY to MN - side to side by daylight.

I love the west. I wouldn't even miss the ocean.
lol you mean Mt Rushmore....so I still dont know where you are for sure..... oh duh!! Va huh... little slow here .... the west is beautiful...

The west is most certainly beautiful, as is the east, but different. I also found the bulk of it's female inhabitants I met to be quite fetching as well.

Must take soup to a sick friend now - really. Who really wants the flu in July???

E-mail me if you like, Dearest Wildrose. Perhaps we could discuss more than geography.

I'll be back in later . . . promise

Oh I hate spam unless it's in a good sandwich...yes I'm one of those that actually does like spam!!!!!:rose:

Spam

I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat potatoes only!!!

My baby boy says Spam stands for "Some Parts Aren't Meat". I pass that on for what it's . . . worth???

I prefer grilled rye holding pastrami, swiss, and a split grilled knockwurst - the Sailor. Add dijon to taste. Truth is, tho', I'm quite easy to feed - not especially picky at all

Hmmmm - made myself hungry.

What's for dessert, Wildrose??? Would that be something you made, or, petals???

BTW, a Wildrose worth her salt has many more thorns than petals.

DESSERT...WHATEVER YOU DESIRE...
oh but this wildrose is not very thorny..notice i said *thorny*

oh my!!!

I fear you misunderstand my appreciation for thorniness. Those with sharp edges give us something to cling to when the strong winds come. Those who have no crags or gritty surface allow us to blow away. If there is a little discomfort, it only reminds us that we are alive, and how we should have gratitude for the easy times. Besides, small pains help clear the fuzz from the mind.

Oops - think I hear the postal delivery system - holiday special.

How was your snack?

Yessss how true..a little pain now and then reminds us that we are still able to feel something...anything and thats a good thing:D
For without feelings...you just drift thru life..not ever enjoying all the pleasure it has to offer you...if you only take the time to enjoy each day....the postman always rings twice and he just did!!! :rose:

Beats dialing M for Murder, does it not?

Check out Kramer's expanded mind.

Still awaiting dessert - there wasn't an ounce of flesh in lunch, either.

my error

yes - all plant matter for lunch. Dinner is at 7:30 EDT, and I shall amend my behavior.

Try this one - I think it shall be more to your liking, and in keeping with what I said the first time.

Still no dessert. Shall I have to go out for that, too???

Thanks all is forgiven....so salad for supper ....well as I just told you ///burger and brats and baked beans...and then watch out...
are you hinting about that dessert??:p Somehow I have a slight idea what is to your liking:devil:

my transparency

Foreshadowing has always been one of my favorite literary devices. Sometimes, I hint too quietly or obscurely. I feel that in this case, my Dear, that you have fathomed my meaning.

I have a funny story from my past regarding the hostess, four silk neckties, and her dining room table.

By the way, what seems to have become of the young fellow searching for an older lady? Has he had good fortune? Pity we have gobbled his post.

So okkkkk whats the funny story...if nothing else we will keep this going till we find out if he got *luck* then I must go......:(

dessert- a cautionary tale

Once upon a time, a few blocks from here, a 32YO male and a 41YO female were engaged in a steamy love affair. Early on, while they were still in early affair heavy lust, she invited him to dinner. Her kids were at their father's for the weekend, and they had the house to themselves.

Being the clever, quick-witted fellow, he searched his closet while dressing, remembering a fantasy of hers she had once shared about light bondage. He found a soup-stained silk necktie for each limb, put them in his jacket pocket, and left to see his lover.

She made some dish or another - it didn't matter - she was a very good cook. Something happened in the kitchen while clearing the table - it seemed their hormones were clouding their minds and spurring their actions, changing the dessert menu at the last minute.

Their clothing littered the back hall as they made their way back to the dining room. Once there, he lifted her to the table top, stretched her out, retrieved the ties from the pocket of the jacket hanging on the back of his chair, bound her gently to the table by each limb ( insert description of delicate wrists, slender ankles and milky skin here), and settled down to one of the most delectable courses he had ever been served. Dinner that night, it seemed, was a hit.

I'm still not sure which wine one serves with that, however. Perhaps it is a moot point, anyway.

Now that had to be a nite and a meal to remember...I have this nice wooden table in the kitchen:p I have wanted to try for a long time and you just made that dream a little more vivid!!! Dam I'm gonna have to do that yet!!!

morality tales w/o morals

My cats, when there have been cats, have always had run of the table tops. For a proper dessert to be "served", cats might need to be secluded, or confined.

Don't throw out those soupy neckties or scarves - silk is best (poly blends have no character). Four required. Add a dash of trust. Heat as required. Serves two (more depending on preferences). Bon appetit.
