Interpretation is a tricky business chauderlos but it is human. I hope you don't think I was judging or assesing.... Just trying to open doors. You sound annoyed and that was not the intent.

As for facing the abyss... we all have a dark side, I think, some are assuming it and living freely according to their wishes, some are not; some are trying to hide their darkest desires, others are trying to match fantasy-reality... TO add a little bit of BDSM flavor in their vanilla life...

You are correct about people varying in their ability to face the abyss. Some can and some can't swim in that dangerous pool
