Day 87: Enzo D'Angelo's funeral and retribution for his death

• Enzo D'Angelo is buried (Post #321).
• As the funeral concludes, retribution begins. (Post #321 again):
  • Traditori and D'Amato Family members are murdered or captured.
  • Jennifer arrests Mila Jaseck, a D'Amato money launderer, who will play a part later. (Post #326)

Day 89: Giovanni D'Amato is captured by Kylie Parker (Post #336)

• Gio is taken into custody by Philip Russo and taken to Elmhurst.
• He will be held until Laura Shovelli finalizes her grand jury and issues a warrant.

Day 92: Emelia expands D'Angelo Protection Rackets into former D'Amato Territory (Post #355)

• Rather than exploiting the new clients, Emelia promises real insurance as opposed to what they expected from previous mob-provided protection rackets.
• Although not posted in the IC, Emelia does the same for all D'Angelo clients.
• Soon, the word gets around and people in adjacent territories begin yearning for the D'Angelo's to expand into their areas.

Day 95:

• Laura Shovelli and Teddy Yarrow:
  • ADA Shovelli practically rapes Teddy Yarrow in her office. (Post #337, off and on to #366)
  • Introducing Officer Gale Harmon (Post #364).
• Emelia D'Angelo and Giovanni D'Amato:
  • Emelia is holding Gio hostage at Elmhurst, where he is being tortured. (Post #339)
• Devon McCauley and Jennifer Parker:
  • Devon invites Jennifer to his wife and daughter's gravesites. (Post #341)
  • During their departure, they come across a robbery in progress in what is now unprotected D'Amato territory.
  • They prevent the crime. but which is now unprotected. (Post #343).
• Introducing Abby Riland (Post #353):
  • Abby and her (irrelevant) partner respond to a robbery at which Devon and Jennifer were the first to respond (in civilian dress).
  • Devon was Abby's Training Officer back in the day.
  • Seeing her again will lead Devon to recruiting her for the Untouchables.
• Introducing Kristine Wright (Post #357):
  • She has been on the force about 1 year.
  • She comes to Abby, complaining about her corrupt partner, a veteran who tells her go along to get along (Post #357). Abby tells her the same, but also tells her to collect evidence against the partner.

Day 97: Marcus visits Emelia at Elmhurst, which is being rebuilt (Post #361, #363, #365, #367-369

• Emelia explains that she is going to a Masque and needs a date.
• With masks and costumes, she doesn't expect anyone to take notice of a Donna and a Detective together.
• Emelia takes the opportunity to introduce Marcus to two young women now living at Elmhurst (Post #368):
  • Naomi Wilder:
    • The 14-year-old rape victim who Kitty and Jennifer saved during the Jackson Projects assault in which they captured corrupt Chief Slattery.
    • She has no image because she is 14.
  • Jessie King:
    • She was a "corner boy" for the D'Angelo-affiliated Prospect Park Pushers, selling heroine in D'Angelo territory.
    • When Emelia shut down dope, Jessie became a lookout, tasked with keeping drugs out of D'Angelo territory.
    • She killed some rival drug dealers (posted previously; I'll find the link) and fled.
    • Emelia was proud of her strength and determination; she took the girl in and, after learning more about her, is training her to be an Assassin.

• Patrick, husband, 47: lawyer for a high-end commercial law firm.
  • He and Abby met out jogging, started dating, and quickly married.
  • The marriage has grown cold; Patrick seems distant these days.
  • She knows that he is cheating on her with a woman from work, but she does not know with whom ... yet.
  • She's contemplating cheating as revenge; she was close (here, Post #357, second half).
• Chloe, daughter, 19:
  • When she is introduced in the story during August (Post #445), she is entering Capitol City College as a Freshman.
  • She is a virgin. (Her mother convinced her that waiting for the right man was the way to go, but honestly, she really wants to experience sex.)

History:

• College (1997 to 2000, age 18-20):
  • Was majoring in Business Administration.
  • Dropped out during her junior year when the money ran out despite her parents' efforts to keep her enrolled; times were hard.
  • She does not blame her parents; they did their best. (It has only made her determined that her daughter will have a college education.)
• Police Force (pre-9/11 2001 to present, age 21 to her current 44):
  • Performed well in the Academy.
  • After 9/11, she faced some racial abuse from fellow officers because she was Brown, despite the fact that she is isn't Arab, Afghani, Iraqi, or any other ethnicity that normally attracts that kind of racism.
  • She kept a cool head and won her coworkers' trust and admiration.
  • Her TO was Devon McCauley. She credits him for her successful career.
  • Devon's influence and supervision led to her becoming a TO, which is how she met two other Officers who will eventually become Untouchables: Kristine Wright and Gale Harmon.
• Marriage and child:
  • Met and married her husband in 2001, just months after she graduated Academy, when she was 21.
  • Her daughter was born in 2004.
  • She shares a luxury apartment with her husband, whose wealth pays for it; they keep a room for their daughter, but she also has an apartment near campus.

The Untouchables:

• She grew up the eldest of 5 children in a 3-bedroom "Section 8" apartment in the Jackson Projects:
• Parents:

    • House cleaner for various white folk (prior to the events described below).
    • Soon to be something else, though, that hasn't happened yet.
  • Father: Lionel
    • Drug distributor for the Pushers, via the D'Angelos; he delivered dope daily to the corner boys.
    • When Jessie was 13, Lionel was shot and paralyzed in a drive-by.
    • He committed suicide three months later.
• Siblings:
  • Two living sisters are Yolanda (15) and Cammie (9).
  • Two deceased brothers -- whose birthdates had fallen between those of their sisters -- were killed in gang related violence:
    • The elder was collateral damage in a drive-by shooting during a war between two JP gangs.
    • The younger was struck by the getaway car of a robbery pulled off by as-of-yet unknown perpetrators. (There's a story there, I think.)
• The situation:
  • Jessie's father was a drug dealer and brought in enough money to keep everyone fed, clothed, and housed but not much more.
  • Her mother's money provided all the frills: an occasion motion picture, birthday gifts, etc.

Jessie's Neighborhood:

• She grew up in the Jackson Projects.
• Her neighborhood was the territory of the street gang, the Prospect Park Pushers:
  • They initially got their name as dope slingers in and around Prospect Park.
  • They were affiliates of the D'Angelo Crime Family.

Jessie's "Career Arc" before Emelia:

• Student:
  • Before her father's death, Jessie was dedicated to school.
  • Her father kept her away from the gangs and gang life.
• Whore:
  • Her father died when Jessie was 13.
  • Without his income, Foster Care for the girls seemed imminent.
  • A Pusher's pimp jumped in to save the day, teaching Jessie to suck cock (using his as a teaching aid, of course).
  • She became a whore, serving mostly white men in the front seats of their cars parked on the sides of the road.
  • This went on for 2 years.
• "Corner Boy" drug dealer:
  • One day while sucking cock, she was assaulted by her John.
  • She stuck a knife into his throat, then set his body and car on fire.
  • This impressed a Pusher's "Block Boss", who gave her a job as a corner boy.
  • She sold heroin on the northwest corner of Hamilton and 33rd in D'Angelo territory for the next 3 years.
• After the Pier 4 Drug Bust:
  • Emelia turned the D'Angelos away from narcotics, theoretically doing the same for the Pushers.
  • Jessie's then-"Block Boss", Orlando, refused to cease slinging dope:
    • He turned to other sources of narcotics and continued selling in D'Angelo territory.
    • 4 days later, he and 8 other Pusher "Block Bosses" were gunned down.
• Corner Watch for the D'Angelos:
  • Jessie went to work directly for a D'Angelo Lieutenant.
  • She watched her old neighborhood to keep drugs out of it.
  • She also told addicts about the Sarah Leigh Long Drug Treatment Facility.
  • She even got to meet Emelia D'Angelo once, finding the Donna to be inspirational.
• Her first kills:
  • One night, members of the rival gang The 44s gunned down Jessie's new "Block Boss", Leon.
  • Jessie was scared but also pissed.
  • She snatched up Leon's 9mm pistol and shot up the gangbangers; she killed most of them, with the last one dying when his car crashed into a power pole and erupted in flames.
• Going to work directly for Emelia:
  • When the Donna heard about what happened, she ordered Jessie to Elmhurst.
  • Although this hasn't been posted yet, Jessie is going to be trained to be an assassin.

• He realized that he was gay his junior year of high school but remained in the closet until just before entering the CCPD Police Academy.

Gale's "Career Arc":

• Out of high school, he got his associate degree in general studies:
  • Before he'd decided on a Major, Gale was inspired to join the CCPD.
• CCPD Academy:
  • Performed very well, finishing in the top 10%.
  • He initially had some issues with other Recruits regarding his sexual orientation.
  • He had a fight with two homophobic Recruits, kicking their asses.
  • When questioned about the cause of the fight, he hid the real reason; this gained him some respect points, and no one hassled him after that.
• CCPD (Post-Academy Graduation):
  • He proved his bravery often, winning 6 Commendations in 8 years.
  • Days after the creation of the Governor's Task Force on Organized Crime, he was selected to be the Liaison between the Governor and SADA Shovelli.
  • He was introduced to the Untouchables on Day 95 (here, Post #364)
    • He took an instant liking to Mephisto, openly flirting with him upon their first meeting.

  • At 26, right out of Harvard, he knocked up and thusly married Delores Green, who he'd only been dating for a few months. A couple of months later, she had miscarriage. (Terrance had always suspected that she'd tricked him into marriage and then had an abortion.)
  • Terrance liked women and didn't want to remain married. He wanted to keep the money he'd made during their 8 years of marriage, though.
  • Luckily for him, his wife liked other men.
  • He arranged for her to have an affair, even sabotaging her birth control during a time period when they weren't having sex so she would become pregnant by her secret lover.
  • A PI documented it all, and -- because of a well written prenup' -- Delores left with little more than the clothes on her back.
  • At age 35, Terrance became a serious playboy.
• Her father meets her (future) mother:
  • At 46, Terrance met Gretchen Fischer, then a 14-year-old fashion model.
  • He spent almost 2 years seducing her with his money and charm.
  • On her 16th birthday, he promised to take care of her and, thusly, was permitted to claim her virginity.
  • He became her sugar daddy, buying her and her mother an apartment, a luxury car (for mommy, to keep her silent), a sports car (for Gretchen), and more.

• At 26, she married Howard Tipton, a Capital City real estate agent who was 8 years her senior; Elizabeth kept her maiden name.
• They had a wonderful life together but -- after three miscarriages -- gave up on ever having children.
• He died of a stroke a year into her Governorship.

  • The procedure was medically difficult, and her ability to one day have another child became doubtful.
  • At 18, she returned to the family home with her son, Javier, who -- over the years -- would show no adverse signs of having closely related parents.

Growing up as a Secret Cartel Princess:

• Maria was raised to play a part in the Family's business.
• She was smart and intuitive, and -- even as a single mother in her teens and early 20s -- played a part in planning and expansion of the business.
• However, she was secretive and stayed away from the public eye: few people outside the family and business's inner circle could even point her out in a crowd.

Her Family was nearly wiped out:

• A couple of months before the RP's start, traitorous members of the Cartel attempted a coup.
• They attacked the family at home, killing Roberto, Alex, Esmerelda, and Carlos.
• Surviving members were her mother, Anna -- who now finally got to live in the main house -- and her eldest brother, Max.
• Max would take over operations in Central and South America, while Maria would take over operations and expansion in Mexico and North America.
• Between the two of them, they would wipe out the leaders of not only the traitors but the other Colombian Cartels as well.
• The Royas Cartel is now the only major narcotics smuggling operation in Colombia and the most powerful/expansive one in all of the Americas.

Incest with her son:

• Maria's son, Javier, had been raised with the knowledge that his mother and uncle often had sex with each other.
• Maria had explained to him how, at 13, she had given her virginity to her own father, Roberto; Roberto, of course, was Javier's grandfather and -- though she didn't tell Javier this -- possibly his father, as well.
• Javier asked his mother to claim his virginity on his 13th birthday, which she was more than happy to do.
• Each of their respective birthdays since, they have had sex with one another.

The International Incest Invitational (III):

• Maria learned about the III through Max, who had learned of it through a Cartel associate who had also once been an active member.
• She had never been ashamed of having sex with her family members.
• When he suggested they attend, she readily accepted, on the condition that Javier -- now 18 -- came as well.
• They attended once before the event being held on the coast near Capital City.

Notes:

• We began this Day 130 timeline while we were still in the early Day 100s.
• If begins after Kitty and Teddy have gone undercover -- she as a stripper and he as a client -- at the Russian Bratva's strip club, The Black Heart, in an effort to shut down an underage prostitution/sex trafficking ring.
• Emelia has also taken Marcus to the Masque by this point.

Day 130 (a Tuesday in August) -- The International Incest Invitation comes to light (Post #417):

• SADA Laura Shovelli invites Marcus, Devon, and Jennifer to a safe house in the suburbs.
• There, they are told about the III by Mila Jaseck:
  • Mila once owned the Jaseck Modeling Agency.
  • She used the agency to both launder money for the now-defunct D'Amato Crime Family, but also ran underage prostitutes through it.
  • She was arrested when the D'Amatos went down; Jennifer -- angry at the time for a reason I don't recall -- punched Mila in the nose, breaking it and giving her black eyes for the next several weeks.
• The III is aptly named:
  • International: it is attended by members from around the globe.
  • Incest: all members must be accompanied by a family member -- father, mother, sibling -- with whom they are sexually active.
  • Invitational: the Organizing Committee determines who gets an invite.
• The III is held 3 or 4 times a year on a schedule controlled by the Organizing Committee, the IIIOC.
• The reason for involving the Untouchables:
  • The new head of North American operations for the Colombia-based Royas Cartel, Maria Roya, will be at the III.
  • No one knows what she looks like; all they have on her is her fingerprints and DNA, as well as knowledge of her plans to attend the III.
  • They want her because she is moving the Royas Cartel -- which is the most violent criminal entity they might ever face -- into Capital City to take over cocaine distribution.
• Devon McCauley and Jennifer Kennedy are chosen to attend:
  • It is a commonly known fact amongst the Untouchables that they are lovers.
  • Because their age gap is 30 years, Laura suggests that they are perfect to go undercover as Father-Daughter.
  • They agree.
• The location is an issue:
  • The location at which the III takes place changes each event. Past locations have included:
    • The vast estates of wealthy members.
    • An English castle that is often rented out for filming.
    • A small but upscale hotel, which is fully rented for the weekend.
  • This time around, the location is the Russian Consulate in Capital City.
  • Because of the security involved, Devon and Jennifer won't be able to either carry weapons or arrest Maria on the premises, presuming that they identify her at all.
  • They will have to find a way to arrest her outside the Embassy.
• Marcus wishes that Devon and Jennifer had back-up.
  • Jennifer has an idea but doesn't share it until the following Saturday, below.

Day 135 (a Saturday) -- Devon's BBQ, at which Abby and Adrian are recruited for the III (Post #426):

• Devon throws a BBQ, at which all of the Untouchables, Laura Shovelli, and Devon's neighbors are in attendance.
• Adrian Floyd, the 18-year-old son of Devon's neighbors, can't take his eyes off of Abigail "Abby" Riland, the 44-year-old Untouchable.
• Jennifer suggests that they are the perfect back-up for the III.
  • Abby is having marital issues with her unfaithful husband, who is fucking a 20-something skank from his office.
  • Abby has, in response, begun picking up on and fucking younger men.
  • And Adrian ... well ... he's an 18-year-old hormone machine who apparently likes older women.
• Jennifer successfully recruits Abby, while Devon successfully recruits Adrian.
• Abby sits with Adrian and explains that they are only pretending to be lovers for the III.
• This disappoints Adrian, who thought he was going to get laid by the beautiful, curvy MILF.
• Abby invites Adrian to coffee later in the week. He accepts.

Day 138 (a Tuesday) -- Abby and Adrian meet for coffee; Abby's husband makes an appearance (Post #445):

• Abby and Adrian meet at a coffee shop kitty-corner to the Coliseum.
• Abby asks Adrian to tell her more about himself.
• The location and time were not picked at random: Abby's husband, Patrick, has a meeting at it at this same time.
• Abby confronts him, tossing a pair of panties at him as part of her chastisement for his cheating on her.
