Also, came by to say ‘SEPA’ here. But seeing as how this has turned into a bitch fest about the economically prosperous parts of PA which subsidize the parts no one wants to live in...🙄

Used to go to Hawk Mtn when I was younger.

People travel up Rt 15... the trip to LaPorte is nice. There is a huge state forest.

I might be in the Philly area in a couple weeks.

Thanks for asking that question. Looking for day trip ideas and this time of the year we always drive up to upstate NY or Poconos. Planning one in early October.

Lake Nockamixon in Bucks County is fantastic in peak season.

French Creek
Valley Green(Wissahickon Creek)
 
Finger Lakes area (Ithaca, Watkins Glen) is great, as in Letchworth State Park (2+ ish hours nw of Binghampton further into NY state) :)
 
Don’t forget Jim Thorpe. It peaks a little later but is something to see.
