Used to go to Hawk Mtn when I was younger.

People travel up Rt 15... the trip to LaPorte is nice. There is a huge state forest.

I might be in the Philly area in a couple weeks.

Thanks for asking that question. Looking for day trip ideas and this time of the year we always drive up to upstate NY or Poconos. Planning one in early October.

Finger Lakes area (Ithaca, Watkins Glen) is great, as in Letchworth State Park (2+ ish hours nw of Binghampton further into NY state)
