I could see getting some sort of a slave tattoo... but initials, names, property of... all that stuff is beyond me or anything I'd ever ask of/order someone else.

Relationships end. People change. People outlive each other.

Even before I got my first tattoo, I resolved never to get anyone's name permanently etched on me.
I have 3 tattoos, all symbolic. None of them are at Master's request (I had the first 2 before we got together). The one I got recently is a tribal kiwi, to show my birthplace

The only piercings I have are 5 in my ears. I had a belly one, but it migrated out after about a year and a half. I am too much of a wuss to get nipples or clit hood *shudder*

nope, but like i siad he chose the earing, he chose the location (i was secretly hoping for belly button, but he didnt want that), and he held my hand the whole time. i got a very odd look from the lady who was doing the piercing when she asked me where i wanted it and i turned and looked at A an he answered. this happened again when she asked what earing i wanted and i stayed silent, looked at A, and waited for him to pick something.

It doesn't say it quite like that though. The intials are bigger, the 'property of' in small letters below that tat, the intials match my own (in a round about way ) so its explainable....if I want to lie about it of course.

I did get a hood piercing at Snooze's request. However, he asked me multiple times before the act if I was positive I wanted to get it done, and reassured me that it didn't matter to him either way. It ended up being more that he planted the idea, but after reading up on it, I was the one eager to have it done.

This is very similar to how I got my nipples pierced. The idea was there. One of my husband's lovers had hers done, my best friend had hers as well. My husband even went and had one of his pierced... but then Master mentioned how much it turned him on.. the thought of having rings to leash or tug.. and so I went and got them done.

Master kept telling me for weeks before I had it done that he'd love me no matter what.. that I didnt have to get them if I didnt want them done.. it only made me want them more.. and I love them

As far as such marks being so permanent, we discussed this at great length beforehand. She felt that even if we were to break up, this period of her life would always be significant to her and she'd have no desire to erase it from her existence.

Mine hasn't faded, but we also are going to redo it in the near future to increase the scarring. Also redoing the brand at some point. Seems in recent years, my skin has gone from being super easy to mark and scar (have a multitude of permanent scars from tiny scratches from kittens throughout my life), to now being very difficult to mark and quick healing to the point of no trace. The brand went well, but it healed way too well for what we wanted and it seems even burns in the kitchen etc., which once left me permanently marked are gone in hours....must be something I'm eating!!
