To answer your statement princess, ya wouldn't have to ask me twice, and that close up ... damn ...

But another thing I've been thinking of these last few days was if it was a big deal reaching ones 500th post, and to be honest I guess it only matters opon ones own feelings. I've seen those that the total number seems to be more important than what's said and that's oaky if it works for them, it's just not me. Each has their own style and motovation.
Of the many reasons for being here and posting replies, the one thing that I have noticed far too much, and this is in my opinion, is hateful comments to what I like to think of as "real" people. I'm not talking about those that get bashed and trashed for posting pics of someone other than themselves, those are bottom feeders and seek to enrage us, and it works. But it's the smartass comments that gets old when someone says something from their heart or places a photo here only to get made fun of that makes someone new go away. Thus, this is the thread where I have decided for whatever it's worth to post my 500th.
While there is many I have seen never say a mean thing to anyone and helps new folks feel welcome here, that person for me was and is Princess .
Again and again I have seen this special lady be nothing but nice to everyone while also having fun, sharing herself with us, and at a point when I was about to leave Lit, her reply to something I posted made me feel welcome here, that my remarks had at least a little merrit or made her smile, and that's why I'm here. Maybe some don't get my sense of humor but in the end, does it matter?

So Princess, for whatever it's worth, I give you my 500th and I hope you had a great Easter Holiday :rose:

woodie - i don't know what to say - i am so very touched by things you said - and so touched that you would dedicate your 500th post to me - you have always made me feel special - you always treat me like a "princess" even when i'm not feeling like one - you have lifted my spirits more than once - and for that i thank you, my love ~

No, I had to go get one of my computers fixed. It took most of the day. I'm not going to be able to get down there tomorrow either. Oh well. I went last year and it was really beautiful.

Did you? It's a long haul for you.

Pretty flower. I just went and finally trimmed all my rose bushes back a couple days ago. I have two "Pink" gardens. One has roses, peoneys, azaleas surrounded by hedges.

The other is a collection of 9 "All-American Beauty" roses which are a deep deep pink color. They are surrounded by a hedge too.

Peter Sellers was one of my favorite actors too....The tune is staying in my head.
