Funny thing though, my porn reading habits haven't changed. Still reading the same type of stories I did when I was a teen. Just the movie part has changed

Someone else at Lit posted a link to this white paper http://www.reuniting.info/download/pdf/TheGreatPornExp.pdf After reading it I started thinking about my own experiences and the porn links that I've posted on Lit threads. Some of this paper rambles pointlessly, but I think there's some validity to getting 'desensitized' when the newness of a particular kink or genre loses it's newness.

I have never liked 'pro' porn or porn that looks like random hook-ups without any emotional connection between lovers. A common thread in all of the videos that I like is real people making an intimate connection and pleasuring each other, and that's been pretty consistent over time. I think that most story authors make an effort to portray a connection, and the variety of way they do it keeps the genres that I like interesting and fresh. Like you, videos that I used to find arousing aren't anymore, but it seems that a rotating shopping list of genres keeps porn videos in general interesting if not always arousing. The more I watch in any given month, the less arousing most porn seems. Taking a break for a while seems to make a difference.

when i was a teen (early teen) i looked old enough to buy porn at the newstand store .. in honesty i was i think 16-17 at the time (Woops ! bad clerk lol ) oh well can't get me now for it i was constantly buying porn from playboys to penthouse. .. i used to read that stuff constantly from the time i got home to time to go to bed and with a hard on ... what younger male wouldn't when they find something they shouldn't ? now adays i'm noticing that porn doesn't do anything for me much anymore . i got dvds and porn mags and toys pretty much they're just sitting in some lockers (foot lockers) years ago i sized down my collection of magazines i threw out about 50 -60 mags . My older brother of about nine years or so worked at a gas station when I was about 15 or so. He always brought me dirty mags when he worked there. Not only the soft core ones but Hustler's as well.
