Premises, premises, always premises.

Wha?

Then someone asked someone to do something and they said no.

It's not an "alert the media" moment, happens every minute.

If you're going to quote, quote it all. OK?

It was a COMPLETE sentence.

Or are you one of those intervensionist moderators that feels compelled to mold the forum to your own views of reality in total disregard for the thoughts of others?

I think this forum is entiteled to an answer to that question.

I, and others, can pinpoint the very post that you became interventionist.

Shallow, really shallow.

I thought I'd spare everyone's eyes the unbearable repetition.

Actually, you'd be wrong. The premise has nothing to do with a sub/Dom interaction and certainly not any interaction on this board.

Ishmael

Hope you're happy. Know how much my reaction changes? You keep saying "it's just two people nothing to do with the board, hypothetical."

My reaction is, fine, hypothetically someone asked someone to do something and they said "no."

So?

Yeah I have an interventionist streak when the proverbial wahhmbulence is on the way.

So a sub hooks up with someone. Dom or not, and is told to do something by that person and the first word is, "No."

I'm not speaking of anything sexual, or dangerous. A small task of little consequence.

What can one take away from that behavior?

So we went from this original post to a completely vanilla relationship that may not even be a relationship?

Now I'm really confused.

Why is it even in this area then?

It's just as relevant, it seems to me, as the OP.

*shakes head getting even more confused*

So you are also Ish?

becasue I still care to know..

GOOD GODS WHY!!!!!!!!!!!

*lol* I felt a dark disturbance in the Farce when my name was used and had to respond {against my better judgement} {BTW..A thanks to both Netz and RJ..Nice to be remembered every once and a while}

Yup...The Emperor has no clothes. Heeeeeeeessss NEKKID!!!. This thread is "mostly", with a few exceptions, a 216 post testiment to that fact..

This is the original post..

So a sub hooks up with someone. Dom or not, and is told to do something by that person and the first word is, "No."

I'm not speaking of anything sexual, or dangerous. A small task of little consequence.

I just read through this thread ..Most of my time doing so was spent wondering how we got from this post. Which is a pretty damned simple question.. To where it wandered in a vitupritive drunken stagger...

Yah know..It often strikes me that this place would be a tad better off if folks would just read the question... And then just answer or not..
*shrug*
Oh well.... I've worn the mantle of self righteous indignation myself... It can be quite comfy.. Makes yah stand up right straight and stick your chest out.
My problem is that I can't help but start laughing at some point..

As to the original question:
One takes away from that whatever one can...Like any other example of exhibited behaviour..
The operative parts of this are the phrases "hooks up with", which I assume means "Enters into a relationship with", and "sub" which denotes a specific type of relationship.
*shrug again*
I can only say "Been there, Done that". WHich has been said before.
You observe this.. And you make an annoyingly simple decision..Try again..Or walk away.
Either the "sub" isn't a sub.. Or isn't sub to you, or is one of those lovely and entirely too prevalent folks who claim the mantle of "sub" but only want to do what they want to do. {*grin* And don't forget the 4th option..That they can't do it because their SO that they're cheating on online might find out.}

There yah go..there's an answer to the question that was actually asked.. The first one at least. Which no one should take personally.. I know not a damned thing about the background involved, or the people. All I can do is try and answer the question that was actually asked... As best I can.
