This thread began by pointing out a man of principle, George Conway III. This evening, the White House Correspondents' Dinner ended on a remarkable note—delivered by Colin Josts, an SNL comedian about a similar principled man: a fireman, substitute teacher, and house painter.
Colin solemnly spoke from the heart, sharing a little of his grandfather's history as a Staten Island fireman in a predominantly Republican region.

Biden is not considered a saint by the Catholic Church. I believe some miracles are required for that, but I am not sure of that since I am not a Catholic.
Probably, most religious faiths allow people to be sinners and still be a part of the religion. I'm not aware of that as a fact, however.

Considering people are still claiming 2020 was rigged and lawyers are already in each state ready to sue, I don't have faith in the average voter with bias to do any of the above.

And if Trump wins THEN WHAT? All bets are off? Riots in the streets. One thing I will agree with, people need to make informed decisions and vote their conscience based on what they have experienced. Only one party in our short history has impeached a president twice and attempted to destroy a president’s administration based on hatred. Only one party has ever attempted to prosecute a former president opening a can of worms for past and future presidents and that party is the Democratic Party. Your words ring hollow.

"If Trump wins (hopefully not), given Joe Biden's belief in the peaceful transfer of power, I expect the handoff of the Presidency to follow as it did in cases for Gore, Trump, and even Hillary Clinton. I hope there won't be any riots in the streets caused by a MAGA-like mentality kicking in. The Democratic Party doesn't have a Trumpian MAGA worship base. We have already seen the January 6th incident as a taste of that, so it's not hard to imagine gun-toting militants rallying for Trump's defeat when he loses again.
Trump is responsible for his actions in the impeachments and the current legal battles. It is shameful to have a former president on trial for anything, let alone four criminal indictments. He was an incorrigible president and voted out of office - legally. His narcissistic mindset has no place in government.
My words ring of hope, and don't swing like the noose fixed on a gallows outside Congress. The specter of hanging Mike Pence on January 6th was by which party-affiliated group of 'peaceful civic citizens'?

No one brought impeachment charges for sexual matters against Trump. But for President Bill Clinton, a Democrat, rival Republicans impeached him in 1998. Republicans charged perjury and obstruction of justice related to his extramarital affair with Monica Lewinsky. The Senate acquitted him. It was purely political theatrics by Republicans.
