For some reason I don't find shaved vaginas attractive. I can think of a few explanations:

1: Pubic hair marks sexual maturity and I therefore associate its presence with feminine sexuality. It seems to indicate the presence of a feminine mystery. If you see a naked woman, especially at a distance, you most often don't see her vagina directly, but the telltale triangle of darkness between her legs is a cue that she is nude and sexually mature. To me that's very sexy.

2: Maybe because of my background in photography and tendency to think visually, I miss the line of contrast between a woman's pubus and her skin if she is shaved. Especially if her hair is dark, an area of high contrast is created that draws one's attention to that point in an image.

3: Shaved women remind me of plastic dolls and I find that freaky.

Otherwise, from a hands-on point of view, I agree that a wild, untamed bush can be a put-off. I've been fortunate enough to be with a number of girls who have what you could call "naturally perfect pubes", but for those who aren't born with this luxury, some modification is likely required.
