waiting for summer produce
We've been disappointed in the grocery stores lately. We browse the squash bin every time we go to the store, but it's been several weeks since we found a big one -- or even any that weren't downright small. Too bad, we were in a groove for awhile. I thought spring/summer would be a good season.
But there's hope. We planted a summer garden, including yellow squash. In year's past we'd pick 'em small for taste. Think we'll let some grow this year.
