Question about flogging and st andrew's cross

When flogging, is it a whole arm movement or a flick of the wrist? (Recommend a video if you cant)

Also, when on a St Andrews Cross (X Frame), people usually are bound facing forward/outward. Can it be done with them facing the frame?

Yes, it is possible to tie the sub to the St. Andrew's cross so that he/she is facing the frame.

However, I especially love to tie my subs upside down and facing forward
