Question about sexual content in stories with multiple parts

Not every chapter should have a second scene, but I would say it should have a sexy or provocative scene to keep things interesting?

Some dialogue or nudity or something

Once you have a readership (about 3 chapters in you tend to get the same number of views, give or take, after a sad drop off...) most of your "fans" probably won't mind a chapter without any sex, they're more interested in the story. Especially if it's a Sci-Fi/Fantasy or Romance or Non-Human story line over all. At least that's what I've noticed!

Right. Once you get down to the "core" audience in higher chapter numbers they are there for the story/characters and some non erotic chapters will be acceptable to them.

Not sure with sci-fi as I don't read it, but my other half reads a lot of romance here and many chapters there have no "action" so to speak.
