I wouldn't bother making such requests with me. If they're not nice or you could just as easily not read them then I'll ignore you. *Shrugs* Or say no, whichever.

And it seems like putting me on ignore would solve your problem of having to see my quotes, we're not in any threads together or have any such grand interactions apart from, you know, your general bitchiness over useless irksome things that I seem to do...god, I love that word - IRK!

It was more something that bothers me on principle. It's not really specific to you, though from the pages I've seen in this particular thread, you're the only one I've seen quote themselves. I suppose I can't explain it very well other than it being a pet peeve. I'd say probably because it's a very self-centered thing to do. Though I guess that's probably why you do it seeing that you've admitted to liking attention. Which I at least respect your honesty about.

That said, as hard as it may be to believe, your posts usually don't bother me, so ignoring you is sort of an extreme measure. On the other hand plenty of people seem to dislike everything I say yet they also refuse to ignore me so I'm not quite sure what their excuse is.

Anyway, so I'm not derailing this too much, I'll toss in an addition:

Actually, it's just something I do since generally there's not a quote that yet exists for what I want to say. You'll find I'm not the only person to quote me as a matter of fact, some way back Yeishia also quoted me for one of her posts.

I just don't believe that because a person is famous for something that their spouts mean anything more than my own.

But yes, I freely admit I am an attention slut and liked for who I am.

Imagine my delight to awaken this morning to find Drama in my thread.

I am recovering from a debilitating illness and come to Lit to relax and have fun. I do my level best not to provoke or become enmeshed in the drama. That I admit is not always easy to do and I do sometimes become a part of it.

I do have control of my own threads or should have right?

This thread is set up as, Quote of the day.

I did this because self-quoting often becomes self-serving, a personal platform, to promote a personal agenda or to sling mud at others.

Having said that….

If I am unhappy with the posting in my thread, I shalll tend to it, it is simply not your place to do so. I was surprised by your interference given that we have never even met.

Minx had done none of the things I mentioned above.

I have been fine with her self -quotes this far and so have said nothing.

A final thought, if you have a problems please address them in PM or I do believe someone set up a boxing ring for just such occurrences.
