Quote of the Day!

~There are times to cultivate and create, when you nurture your world and give birth to new ideas and ventures. There are times of flourishing and abundance, when life feels in full bloom, energized and expanding. And there are times of fruition, when things come to an end. They have reached their climax and must be harvested before they begin to fade. And finally of course, there are times that are cold, and cutting and empty, times when the spring of new beginnings seems like a distant dream. Those rhythms in life are natural events. They weave into one another as day follows night, bringing, not messages of hope and fear, but messages of how things are. ~

And now a quote form my favorite Britcom Waiting For God, said to a character I see myself being when I am old and in a retirement home

"Your smile is like a crack in the walls of Hell. One can smell the brimstone, and hear the cries of the Damned in your smile."

~Tom to Diana, when she makes a bet with him to be pleasant to everyone for one week.~

Even with the discount that Shambala publications sometimes offers its still a hefty bill.

I disagree Yeishia it is usually lazy people lacking a firm sense of self who resort to merely emulating others. Really urks me when they steal ideas from those they profess to be better than. Just my opinion, trust you to believe the best in people as always *sighs*

Its just someone trying to fit in MSA. We all want to belong.

I made the self same mistake last year before I decided to be just me no matter whether I was liked or not.

So I fully understand.

It took me years to have the courage accept myself warts and all. (Well most days *giggles*)

Let us agree to disagree!

Quote of the Day!

~I don't pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me; love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person, love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of, love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room and smile at you ~

Quote of the Day!

~Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit.
Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself. To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night. To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving.~

I had no idea what snark meant...really!

I goggled it and came up with this quote. It so fits the person who brought the word to my attention lol :D

Quote of the Day !

~ OK. I love sarcasm, wit, and cleverness. I hate snarkiness.
Yes, I am an admitted hater — of nasty, cruel, and self-promoting quips hurled at unsuspecting persons.
I see snarkiness as a form of bullying.
Snark is the sound of the snot of a 12-yr old boy who forgets or refuses to blow his nose, as it moves back up into the nasal cavity; then down again. Yuck.
The sound makes me cringe every time I hear it. Truly. Feh!!! ~

Quote of the day!

~ I have loved to the point of madness; that which is called madness, that which to me, is the only sensible way to love ~
—Francois Sagon

Faith is the surrender of the mind, it's the surrender of reason, it's the surrender of the only thing that makes us different from other animals. It's our need to believe and to surrender our skepticism and our reason, our yearning to discard that and put all our trust or faith in someone or something, that is the sinister thing to me. ... Out of all the virtues, all the supposed virtues, faith must be the most overrated
