reasons why heterosexuality is wrong

4) Maybe you just need to have a baby and then you wouldn't have something against them. Just think, they might grow up and agree with your ideas. Isn't it better to have someone to agree with than someone to argue with?
Congrats, killallhippies! You've just been breeder bingo'd. Some people just don't want kids. Why is that so bad or wrong? I, myself, much prefer animals. We're all different so why do people that don't want kids have such a stigma attached to them? And where's the stats that say guys that have had kids make better lovers? With some I've had, I don't see how they could get any better :nana:

Oh yes there is so much persecution of people who don't have/don't want babies -- especially in the gay community. You cannot enter a bar, get a drink, or even get laid unless you have a baby with you or one on the way. You get funny looks in gay churches like MCC if you don't have a baby with you. Don't even think of being invited to a turkey dinner if you don't want children.

Never mind that we have a president who primarily got a push in the polls before the election because he wanted an anti-gay marriage amendment. How churches (including mine) made sure you knew that you couldn't in good conscience vote for for someone who didn't condemn gay marriage like our "christian" president did. Nevermind that some fertility clinics are now on record to deny reproductive services to gay people. All this is insignificant, what we really need to fight is the rampent persecution of people who don't want babies. They suffer so much persecution.

In summary, if you don't wan't kids fine, but you shouldn't assume that just because you are in a GLBT forum that we all are anti-breeding. We are individuals with individual goals, desires, & opinions. I'm gay, I love animals, and I would have loved to have been able to have had kids. I'm sorry to burst your stereotype of how a gay person is supposed to think, feel, and respond to an anti-baby thread.

fuck off.

Actually, I was thinking of heterosexuals when I responded. I'm not aware of stereotypes between gays and kids. And, I may have voted for Bush once but certainly not twice. So, no need to be sorry because there was no stereotype busted.

Are you serious?

Oh and pets shouldn't be treated like children. Not healthy.

Sweet none2_none2

I hope you don't feel put upon. I actually do support babies! And us queer folk having them! But isn't it better that we actually have to think about the choices and make a decision? That said, i still love the joke of all of this, the back-in-your-face-bushies quality of it, a way to bond after that nasty troll tried - and failed - to bomb our sanctuary...

With affection,
~ J
