Regular looking people.

It's contagious - now someone else is posting these insecure-site links.
You should get your facts right, @Britva415, having SSL on site doesn't necessarily mean it's any safer than the one without it. It just means traffic between site and you is encrypted.
Have seen too many SSL sites running WordPress being full of traps and malware in my long life in IT security field.

That doesn't contradict what I said at all. Unless you mean the "it's contagious" part, which, if you thought I was stating it factually and you didn't manage to take that figuratively, I don't know how to clear it up.

I was commenting on "insecure-site links" and I stand behind what I said - site can be insecure no matter if you use http or https. All the https does is encrypting traffic, it is not securing anything...

Imagine I wrote "secured" instead. That's what I meant.

How "secured"? Again, all you gain is that the traffic between you and the site will be encrypted. And if you think no one can see where are you looking or what are your credentials for such a site, it is still damn easy to set up MIT attack to get those. Actually many https (supposedly secured) sites are actually behind concentrator (eg. F5) and then there is a hop between the concentrator and server where the traffic is not encrypted at all.
And as for the security certificates - are you aware there are sites where anyone can get them for free? So again, easy to setup fake site with fake sec certificate to fool you around...

How "secured"?
Secured with SSL. That's a factual yes or no which you seem to be trying to read nuance into by saying I have facts wrong. Is it secured with SSL? No, end of story. I get that you have a story to tell. Go ahead and tell it, but don't pretend I don't know whether end-to-end encryption is present or not.
