Rejection

Can you get to your member page here (like in log into your account)? If so, there's a "Submit" button on the right column, which leads to a "submit story" buttom, which provides a box to cut and paste your story into. Works a charm and seems quite easy to use.

Question

After reading all the posts, a question that has bothered me more than once, popped into my head. Is there a way to go back an edit a story that has already been submitted and accepted? I know this probably isn't the thread for this question, but many of you seem very knowledgeable.

The reason I ask, is that I have several stories on here that need a good overhaul; especially since I am a one draft only type of writer. This is why I haven't submitted in awhile; I have a couple more stories done; but I am practicing on editing and reediting them instead of just a 'one and done' mentality.

Yes, you file a substitute with the same title with "EDIT" at the end of the title. It's good to note in the Notes box that it's an reedited substitute version.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, that's what I'm going to have to do – learn how to cut and paste my submissions into the box you mention.
It would make things a lot easier!

What I've been doing is typing into that box: 'Story submitted by email'.
And filling in the rest of the form: story title, description, tags, etc.
Then I press the Preview button and, if all is okay, I press the Submit button.
The submission then appears on my submissions page, as Pending.

I just wish I knew why my (correctly spelled) emailed submissions aren't coming out the way I send them in.

Here's just three, of the many examples of these types of spelling errors I found in an editing session I put in yesterday, after my latest rejection.
This one, four Lit pages long.

wouuld.
hersellf.
worrrisome.

See what I mean? None of these words would have made it through my spell check.

I understand. It's a "falllacy" that technology is our friend. It's just toying with us.

Take that to Obama. He seems to thrive on killing using such technology, including American teenaers. A sixteeen year-old? Are you kidding me? And a peace prize to boot.

Must make a black man proud.

He'd be thinking different if that sixteen-year-old was one of his kids.

But of course his kids are protected by guns.

The same guns he wants to take away from us.

I'm done.
