Republican Leadership Is A Threat To America

Really not sure what your problem is here. If I have never been married I have no basis to be your marriage counselor. If I have never struggled with addiction I probably don't have much to say about how you can get over yours. I, as a man, and probably not the counselor you want to go to for women's issues. A woman, because she does not understand from personal experience what men deal with, is not going to be very good as a counselor for men's issues. This is just common sense. If a person does not have the experience of raising children themselves, they are not as likely to be as effective in training and teaching children as someone who has children themselves. Again, this is common sense. But then again, common sense is the very thing your site ignores.
So every teacher must be a parent is your position?

this notion of common sense is nonsense

A teacher has a far broader experience of dealing with children than a parent of just 2

A teacher interacts with a far deeper group of children from various backgrounds, with varying abilities, temperaments, health issues and problems than a parent who may interact daily with only a few kids other than their own on a regular basis. They see childhood rivalries and friendships, sickness and aspirations.

BECAUSE a teacher has such daily interaction with anything from a single class over the school's 8(?) hour day to working with potentially hundreds of kids from multiple groups, they build experience, empathy, and insight... well, the good ones do.

To decide that a teacher cannot understand children's requirements just because they have none of their own at home is akin to saying a person who's looked up about ivermectin use for covid (on their go-to sites such as gateway pundit or breitart) knows better than their own doctor who's telling them horse-wormer has no benefits for them. As a parent, an adult with kids may be better experienced at getting their kid to bed happily (each child is different) or determining what food works best at their dinner table than the child's teacher, but that doesn't make them better qualified to take care of their child in a school setting.

he should be addressing how this 'fact of life' is a 'fact of death' and cannot be normalized or entertained by those with the power to change that 'reality' in government

what is "normal" for kids in school to be thinking about:
  • will i get homework?
  • what music i like
  • who my best friends are
  • what's for dinner?
  • what classes i like best
  • will i make the school team?
  • does that other kid think i'm cute, because i think they are
  • is there a drama/chess/arts club after school?
  • what kind of job i might want to do when i'm a grown-up
  • how much is the local babysitting rate?
  • how mad will my parents be if i'm in later than they told me to be?
  • have you seen that funny cat/idiot vid on tiktok?
  • what colour M&Ms is best?
  • will i get what i really want for xmas/birthday this year?
and more but too many to list.
obviously, that list develops over time as the child matures.

what should NEVER EVER be on that list is "will i make it to the end of the day or get shot before the last bell?"

Yadda yadda... "The child belongs to society not the parents. Societal experts know better what is good for the child than the parents." That is EXACTLY what Karl Marx believed and stated. You are a Marxist. The child belongs to the damn parents. The teachers are there to do the parents bidding. Period. They do not know, care for, or have a more informed say in the life and education of the child than the parents. If you believe otherwise, you worship the state.

Trump said if he is elected, he would stop sending California federal firefighting aid unless Gov. Gavin Newsom, whom he referred to repeatedly as "Newscum," enacted his policy priorities on issues such as taxes.

"If he doesn’t sign those papers, we won’t give him money to put out all his fires. And if we don’t give him all the money to put out the fires, he’s got problems," Trump said. "He's a lousy governor.”

trump... the scum that keeps on scamming

Rodney Goodlett, pastor of Faith Assembly of God in London, was helping direct traffic as parishioners gathered for a service Sunday morning. He said he expected the search to hold down attendance.

"There's definitely people … that probably won't be here today — just nervous with the suspect still at large," he said.

I wonder what his main worry is. The collection plate by any chance?

A coalition of voting rights groups on Friday sued the Alabama secretary of state and attorney general over a policy they say illegally targets naturalized citizens to keep them from voting in the upcoming November election.

The lawsuit alleges that a recent policy intended to remove noncitizens from Alabama's voter rolls "undermines the fundamental right to vote" by relying on faulty information that discriminates against naturalized citizens, disenfranchises eligible voters, and wrongly refers cases for criminal prosecution.

"Alabama is targeting its growing immigrant population through a voter purge intended to intimidate and disenfranchise naturalized citizens," the lawsuit said.

The lawsuit centers on a policy initiated last month by Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen, whose office began the process of removing 3,251 people from the state's voter rolls because they had previously been issued noncitizen identification numbers.
