Rick's Rooftop...an OOC lounge

two step tuesday

Looking at my hand and remembering the skirts it has snuck under.

As Ariosto has said, we've done some multipartner threads with our rooftop friends. When I first arrived, the Rick's Rooftop players were performing a rather boistrous version of Gunsmoke. I also remember a rambunctious version of Robin Hood in which I got to write bawdy songs as Alan-A-Dale and Ari was a delightfully scandalous Friar Tuck. The lovely and erotic Angels, Arioso (no relation to Ari) and LadyKit, helped me out in my Doctor Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde thread.

Multi player threads are fun but often short lived. Sometimes they're accompanied by an OOC thread to keep everyone straight.

SnuggleBunz, I like your ditty almost as much as I like your legs.;)

I did go on my nature tour today with my little guppies. We got to see some deer and a flock of turkeys. They were feeding the fish when a largemouth bass lunged in and ate a bream. It was a great circle of life lesson.

Remec,more rum?

*slips over and plops into Subo's lap, nursing a bottle of whiskey eggnog*

Mr Teacherman is very nice and warm and fuzzy!

*pet pets Subo's head* He is he is!

So who is proposing a little rp?

Monsieur Ari~ Oh...my....God....That was a very......disturbing post....

*Shudders and curls up on the corner couch in a ball.* Turk may I please have some tea?

*Pulls out a box of chocolates laden with various types of liqours and delves in. Laps up the syrup inside a chocolate while waiting for the joint to fill up.*

Turk you should take a seccond job....how about a dancer?

Ah, if only Paendragon frequented this bar! I'm not quite finished toasting Mr. Minaya's wonderful move to bring Johan Santana to Queens. I can't wait to see him this summer, striking out Jimmy Rollins infront of 50,000 of the Mets faithful.

Mmmmm ... Paen ... now ... there's a name I remember well ...

*ggls*

:rose:

Oh Maiden, lovely as ever.

A seat claimed beside her, the blue-collar upstart clad in battered denim jeans and an un-ironed, open-faced collared shirt. The T-Shirt beneath advertises a Kid's Summer Camp. He looks more the aloof student or warehouse hand than a budding writer.

Think I can buy you a drink, Sunshine?

*smiles welcomingly as he sits beside her*

A drink would be most welcome ... perhaps something warming ... any suggestions?

I imagine you've a great deal more class than I, but perhaps you'll humor me. After all...

The wink is offered easily, and the lout remains, confident in his gentle mockery of the finer side. It's all revealed, that under-selling humor, by the Labatt harnessed in a large hand.

It's five o'clock somewhere. Let's see, sleek-figured femme fantastic seeking afternoon warmth. Carried with the sweet poise of class above sensual undertones...

Of course, Sunshine. You're a Malibu Mixer of some kind. A young woman who shared her company with me for a time introduced me to a Ruby Relaxer, which has a wonderful little mix of Malibu, Peach Schnapps, Pineapple and Coconut in it.

Just make Turk doesn't forget the Umbrella. I love those damned things, don't you?

Sounds like quite a combination ... and yes .. love those sorts of things ... lil umbrella ... twizzler ... and cherries ...

*smiles as watches him with interest ... noting his appearance and manner ... a soft smile at the gentle humour*

It's gone 7 pm here ... relaxing after work ... and very cold it is too this evening ...

:rose:

happy humpday

Ah, Turk, a cold one please. We had an early release today. got rid of them fast so we could plan on spendingmore time with them.

My goodness, there's a lot of sweetness around here. candies, drinks, and of course Roofettes.

LightIce, walk softly. I'm a poor Minnesota Twins fan. Since baseball doesn't have the guts to have revenue sharing lke the NFL, rich teams like the Mets and Yankees will always plunder their weak sisters for talent. If we don't do it with young players, we don't get to do it at all. Enjoy his talents, though, he is terrific.

SnuggleBunz, Ari is famous for his curveballs. (notice the segue?) That's what makes him so much fun.

Delicious maiden, if the drinks don't warm you up, give me a call. I'll "loan" you my electric blanket.:D

A salary cap and revenue sharing would be ideal in keeping some parity and competitive balance in the Majors, and I'd be thrilled if we had it. I can't say I'm ashamed of the Mets finally cracking it as a large market club, for so long they were so poor. I hated being considered a fan of New York's red-headed bastard child.

But in this instance, Subo, I'm afraid the only anger you should have is with Twins Management. This deal should have went down with Boston or the Yankees forking over a ton of prospects. Instead, your club owners kept pushing the bar too high and ended up settling on half of what they could have had.

I'm just glad this fell into Minaya's lap. Here's to hoping we can give some AL clubs a competitive Series next year.

*giggles and blushes at being caught snuggling with Light Ice*

I may well take you up on that Subo ... I have the shivers this evening ... but a hot cup of tea and am wrapped in a duvet ... heading for 11 pm so may retire to beddy-byes so I can be up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed tomorrow....

And ... I KNOW I owe you a postie ... be kind to me ... I'll get there when I can ... I will try to be worth waiting for ...

*flutters eyelashes winningly ... ( she hopes ! ) ... and blows Light Ice a kiss*

Mari xxx :rose:

We're helplessly charmed, and I speak with full confidence for both Subo and I.

Sweet dreams, Sunshine. I'll be exhausting Turk on his trecks for Labatt Blue until your return. ;)

*wraps arms around Light Ice's neck and huggles him*

Thanks ... I'll look forward to popping in again soon ... was nice spending time getting to know you ...

*smiles shyly*

I'm sure we'll have fun in the future....

Mari x :rose:

who me?

Light Ice, No real anger, of course, certainly not at you or the Mets or Santana. :D Everyone is just dealing with the economic realities of baseball. The Twins had to make choices, they ponied up their limited resources for mauer and Morneau and had to let Tori Hunter and Santana go. I've been watching this happen since they came over from Washington in '65. I'm really more of a football fan.:)

DM, darling, take your time, never any pressure from me. Ned anyone to tuck you in?

Subo ... tucking in always welcomed ... amongst other things ... you should know that by now ... ;)

*huggles you and kisses your cheek*

Nite ... good to see you again!

Mari x
:rose:

I hope the best for your Twins, and for your Vikings. Liriano's return should be a spark.

In truth, my life's been spent resenting the resources and dominance of the big market clubs like the Angels, Boston, and the Yanks.

If only more power could be spread out. You can only imagine how glad I was that the Mets finally got a bank account large enough to compete.

Football is another passion, Subo. You'll get yourselves a big-time Quarterback sooner or later, but in the mean time All-Purpose is an absolute stud. I can't wait to see him healthy next season.

Turk, a beer to my buddy here. He looks empty-handed.

I'm not from Minnesota, just Florida. My dad was a Twins fan when htey were the Washington Senators, I followed his tradition. I'm actually a Packer Penn State fan. (I defy convention, lol) The Jaguars are my second team.

You know, if we ever had any profits, we could afford a big screen
tv in here. Turk, I'll promise to pay my bill if you promise to leave the barmaids alone.:eek::eek: No! Wait!! What am I saying?

*Points to Ice* SYRACUSER!

*Bounds over the furniture and leaps atop the bar, perching and wiggling her bottom down onto the polished wood.*

Turk, uhm....OOH!....no......Can I....no.....

*Slides off and wanders over to hug Subo around the shoulders softly nuzzling his ear* Buy me a drink handsome man?

Looking around for a handsome man;)

Turk, pour the adorable roofette whatever she desires. I'm not sure I've ever seen the bar so perfectly polished.:D

Ari sits at his table drawing on a napkin, Turk leaning over his shoulder, polishing glasses.
Jesus! that's sick.

He has drawn a raven tressed beauty in a 'doggie' position being gang banged by
a three headed monster with triple cocks the size of police batons.

Well...maybe your right, how's this?
Ari pulls another napkin from his shirt pocket

Oh my God!...That's even sicker!

(get ready snuggles hehe)

Cognac Turk and one for the house!

*Wanders in and perches in a cozy little chair. Looks over and spots a crumpled napkin, lifting and straightening it her brow knits together*

What the....Monsieur!! Oh my God!

*whimpers and runs behind the bar hiding, looking up to Turk whil clutching a butterknife.*

Don't let him get me! Your suppose to maintain order!
