I love my crops. They are my favorites next to my strap ons.

Ebonyfire said:Jay Wiseman's book SM 101 has a chapter on flagellation that identifies a lot of toys and describes their use (no pics). I highly recommend this book as a worthy addition to your BDSM Library.
He mentions that the crop can be used as a sensual toy too. I forgot to mention it. I use it as an alternative to my hand for caressing purposes. It gives a different sensation.
You can use it to caress anywhere. And is especially nice if your sub is blindfolded.

There is some good ideas and knowledge but ive found more useful info here and on other web searches. Hard to weed out the wheat from the chaff anywhere you go, even in the books.
Are there any books written by subs?

*hopes he does not confuse 'whip' with 'crop' when purchasing*
SirFace said:Thanks for the info. Ive read a bunch of his stuff on the web already, seems to be the king source.
SirFace said:hehe, you just gave me an idea. And I wouldnt be surprised if he was. Remember their bed? I couldnt imagine a more perfect setup to tie someone up in all kinds of ways. The four corners practically were designed to tie ropes to. They were bollards (cleats).
crazybbwgirl said:And that cool ladder right in their bedroom! My mind was spinning with ideas... hmmm, wonder if they'd let us housesit in the winter or something? Perhaps you could offer to do some electrical work? hehehe
Ebonyfire said:Yep. Did you buy a crop yet?
What kind?

crazybbwgirl said:mmmm - that's what I thought! Right there going up the bedroom wall - leading to this cool little loft area, that was surrounded by a slat railing. oh... the possibilities.....
BiBunny said:Ok, the horse person in me has to speak up. If you don't have much experience with crops, look for something called a jumping bat. It sounds really harsh, but it's actually just a short crop. The piece of leather on the end of the bat usually makes a loud popping noise (louder than regular crops), too. The noise is fun for scaring the living crap out of a blindfolded sub! It basically feels the same as a regular crop, but the shorter length makes it easier to control.

Also got vet wrap from here.
Ebonyfire said:That is the one I visited. They have a whip I am interested in.
dixicritter said:It's a good site, very reliable. I've ordered from them numerous times. Always been satisfied, just so ya know.
Ebonyfire said:Thanks! Your opinion means a lot to me. And it is good to be back to share toy fun with you.
SirFace said:Methods of use?
Is the idea to just flick (snap) the leather end on the skin? Or is it used like a cane so the hard part of the crop hits and then the leather snaps down?
