RIP Pope Francis Discussion Mega-Thread

The one who appeased the nazis must be right up there….most are just childfuckers.

I guess the OP has given up on his failed thread, so I'll try to help. :)

VATICAN CITY, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Pope Francis has shown a "further, slight improvement" in his medical condition, the Vatican said on Wednesday, in a sign of progress as the 88-year-old pontiff battles double pneumonia.
There is no such thing as "double pneumonia" -- the phrase is base on a misunderstanding of "pleural pneumonia" -- that's "pleural," not "plural."

I wonder if he's had the Last Rites yet?
Of course, they don't call it that any more. Too discouraging.

DOCTOR: We've done all we can, Tom -- it's up to you now! You have to want to live! You have to believe you can live! Oh, and the priest is here to give you the Last Rites!

It's now called "Sacrament of the Sick."

I thought double pneumonia is when pneumonia presents in both lungs rather than a single one?

oann?

That aside, I don't see what it has to do with my query.

The Pope will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.

This thread was a dud from the start because the author never updated it - now its failure is complete. 🙂

Happy to see Pope Francis has survived this health crisis and heading back to the Vatican.
