Babysitter
"We're getting a babysitter?" John yelled.
"We are getting a housesitter. Don't you speak in that tone of voice to me, young man," the woman replied.
"But Mom," said Thomas, "We can house sit."
"Ha," she replied. "Last time you two were left alone while we were gone on vacation, you two threw a party and the cops almost came by! You know they're going to pass a law holding adults responsible for alcohol served to kids at a party, even if they won't be there!"
John rolled back his eyes, as Thomas glared at him.
(Insert description and bio of twins.)
"But Ma..." John whined.
"No buts, and that's it!" his mother said.
John reflected upon his "conversation" with his mother. It was ridiculous that he and his twin brother had to be babysit -- grounded was more like it -- all week while their parents were on a cruise. All John and Thomas had were DVDs. Their parents took the car keys and their internet connection was down and John wanted some online sex.
Hmm.... sex. John looked at their babysitter and came up with an idea. The family had some lame family games in the basement, and he went off to get them. "I'm gonna get a boardgame," said John.
"A boardgame?" said Thomas, "But they're all so -- "
"Shut up," replied John.
John eventually returned with Twister.
"Twister?" said Thomas, "That's such a lame game. Where's -- "
"Shut up," replied John. "Anyway, this game needs at least three, and I haven't played it in awhile. I'm bored as hell and you're supposed to housesit, so please join us," said John to (babysitter).
"I thought you could play with two," Thomas muttered to himself.
