What is the best thing about living in NC?

It isn't Maryland! Lower taxes. I don't need a snow blower! I can be nude outdoors for the majority of the year.

Hi, the Blue Ridge mountains are beautiful! I live on the coast, love it, but maybe need a change of scenery.

Looking for a cabin to rent or buy either near Blowing Rock, or Saphire/Cashiers area - because it is within 300 miles of current location.

Any mountain residents have a suggestion? I like to hike, bike, atv, and ride a motorcycle on those mountain twisties. Prefer some elevation for cooler summer living if possible. Oh yeah, trout fishing would be great, too.
