Spicy Romance in the Twilight of Life
I’m interested in collaborating on a romance story involving a man and a woman over sixty. There are very few stories in the “mature” category written by seniors, for seniors, that draw upon the feelings of love and sexuality that are very much still alive within those of us of a certain vintage.
I don’t have a super specific storyline in mind yet, but do have some ideas. One involves long lost childhood sweethearts that somehow come across each other through some random coincidence and find love decades later. Another idea is a story about two people in unfulfilling marriages that cultivate a clandestine romance. A third idea could be about a man and a woman who never meet in person but somehow cross paths and develop a deep bond through written words, either through old fashioned hand written letters or emails.
Rather than telling the story through the voice of an indifferent third person, our story will be told in a first person format. Readers will hear it from the man’s voice and the woman’s voice, getting a window into our thoughts and emotions. Sort of a role play, told like a storybook.
I’m not interested in writing “daddy” stories, BDSM stuff, incest, swinging, LGBTQ, cross dressing, or other kinks. Just good old fashioned love and romance. Perhaps our personal experiences in real life can provide some inspiration for our fictional story.
One more thing…we need to fully develop our characters to make them relatable. There are countless stories about women and men with sculpted bodies, tight pussies or huge cocks, who are world class bedroom athletes. I’d like our characters to be normal, with our daily life challenges and insecurities, maybe some nerdiness, and mature bodies that might not turn heads at the beach in our bathing suits.
If you’re a woman who likes to write, and who remembers buying vinyl records, playing jacks, tether ball and 4 square in elementary school, listening to the latest hits from groups like Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, The Who, and Bob Dylan on FM radio, and when paper roadmaps were essential items in the glove box, I’d love to hear from you.
